Hey, just wanted to say thanks for everything that you contribute to the Procreate/digital art community (niche as we may be). I’ve learned a lot from your tutorials over the last few months and several of your brushes have become my go-to’s. Recently I’ve been attempting to tweak my own brushes… and while it’s actually pretty fun, there are so many hidden strings between all the variables and it’s taken me quite a while to suss out the general mechanics. (It’s like Rube Goldberg puzzle, almost...) So tips and tricks like these are tremendously helpful! Again, thank you for all that you do.
Super big like, This is so so impressive and perfectly detailed artwork, I’m also a Procreate artist for the past 7years and love the format, hope we stay connected and have a wonderful day. Greetings from 🇬🇧 UK.
Hey! Is there any way to figure out which brush you’re using previously? (I know you can set the sizes on specific brushes to stay in the bar, but what about the different brush textures?) Idk if that even makes sense, but I’ve watched a ton of Procreate tutorials lately and haven’t seen it. Jw!
Hi Megan! Unfortunately that function doesn’t really exist in Procreate. The closest would be the “recent brushes” section at the top of the brush list - that shows your 10 most recently used brushes. If you’d like to keep track beyond that, I’ve heard of people keeping track on a separate layer of each canvas, and just adding a note when using a new brush in the piece (and then hiding the layer again). Hope this helps a bit!
