Thanks for the video! Can i put it for a whole day in the refrigerator? Or is it better to do the second box in the fridge?
Thank you for watching my video!
I think you can store in your fridge one day. But please eat them up next day.
If you want to store longer, I recommend to make freezable bento box like these 👇
Please check it out!

These all look so delicious, where I go to school I don’t have access to a microwave to reheat, are these good cold and is it safe to eat cold?
Thank you so much for watching my video!
Yes, you can eat them cold (at room temperature). During summer season, I think you should bring the bento with ice packs.
Hello! I had been meaning to ask you, is there a specific type of sake that should be used for cooking or can you just use any sake? Thank you for another great video!😊
Thank you for watching my video and for your question!!
Yes, any type of sake is fine! Some people use "cooking sake", but I prefer to use sake sold for drinking. I think it makes the food taste better👍
@@JapaneseCookingChannel Great! Thank you, what brand do you use? Maybe I can find it here in the US?
These are brands I often buy because they are reasonable compared to other one! Maybe you can find them in the US too!! But, again any sake is fine😊
■Hakutsuru 'Maru' Sake

I'd love to make japanese bento but it involves a lot of frying. how do you clean up and get rid of frying oil after?
Thank you for watching my video!
I strain the oil after cooking, and reuse it several times:D
hi i was wondering if i use the fried chicken as lunchbox and i bring to work and microwave the food, Won't the fried chicken be soggy after heating it? or is this supposed to be eaten cold?
You can microwave the fried chicken if your bento box is microwave-safe :)
Also, cold fried chicken is still taste good if you make it in the morning!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! 🥰
Is there a particular brand for those little sausages that're pre-cut? I always end up dropping a few of mine when I make them myself. 😖
Thank you for watching my video!
The one I bought is made by Prima Meat Packers.
Maybe I can make octopus-shaped sausage from scratch some time in the video👍
@@JapaneseCookingChannel You're welcome! And thanks for the info! I'd also love to see more of your work in the future!!
❤
💕
last recipe is very easy to make btw bell pepper is capsicum!
Thank you!!
What is the sausage brand? I wonder if I can get these in America because I've always wanted to try them!
We call it "Red wiener". The one I bought is made by Prima Meat Packers.
If you can find the red one, there isn't much difference between brands!
@@JapaneseCookingChannel thank you for the reply, I appreciate it!!!
can we use potato starch instead of flour for making tonkatsu?
I've never tried it... But I think it works!
Thank you very much😇
@@JapaneseCookingChannel
Is there anything that can be used instead of sake?
Thank you for your question!
You can use white wine!
@@JapaneseCookingChannel thank u so muchh
😃😍🙏❤👍
Thank you as always!
I think you shallow fried, not deep fried (your way is better )
