I will have the scuba tank inside the hull. There is a rule about carrying compressed gas inside the hull. The tank can only contain enough gas to increase the cain pressure by a certain amount. I think it is 8 psi but thats a guess. I need to look into that.
@@HankPronk You already make videos , so you can manage the basics . As an idea , Set up the camera in a place where it can see your face and your workstation . Record , upload it on 3 or 4 times speed with voice over , soft music of your choice , or both .
Looking great!!!
Really no need to try to recharge the emergency system. Good decisions.
Yes I agree, I need to stick to my KISS principal.
Will you keep the scuba tanks inside the pressure hull? I've never had mine leak, but I imagine it could go south real quick.

@@HankPronk I suppose any extra gas would "burp" out the hatch on ascent. I'm curious about that limit on rapid pressurization.
@ I would say not good, but it is a very large volume to fill.
Hank, you should film some of the build, your channel will take off!!
I don't have an editor or I would. My friend James has a submarine building channel. "Gurnsey Submarines". he shows all the build details.
@@HankPronk I'm enjoying the project either way, but As an engineer i would love to see more!

Are you going to use carbon fiber and glue?
I would keep 2 tanks ,,,,, just in case .
I need to think on it.
@@HankPronk one for surfacing, one for emergency breathing air supply?
@@WelpNopeYep one tank will do both but good point
