I love these road trip videos!!! I especially love the dashboard camera footage because it shows the changes in landscape as you go west from Florida to California. I'm also a big itinerary planner lol 😁 As a former Austinite I got warm feelings seeing my city in your video. I'm so glad you enjoyed your time there! Johnson City isn't actually named after LBJ - it was named in the late 1870s after his grandfather, Samuel Johnson Sr.! I always wanted to go to the LBJ National Historical Park but I never did because tours were always suspended and something was always being renovated. It was really cool seeing White Sands and Petrified Forest National Parks, and Meteor Crater! I haven't been to any of those but I want to go. I actually drove east along Interstate 40 through the Flagstaff area back in 2012, but I was in the process of moving so I didn't want to make too many stops. Hopefully I'll have another chance to go to that area in the future!
Thank you so much, Kenneth! Great info on Johnson City! We had no idea what that little town was about but always interested on the history. Hopefully you'll be able to make it to White Sands and Petrified Forest. Some of the coolest national parks we've been to date for sure :)
Been to White Sands National Park. So Cool there. The Meteor Crater is HUGE! Pictures just doesn't do it any justification until you see with your own eyes. Been through Flagstaff going to the Grand Canyon. What a difference between night and day from Southern Arizona
Yeah, we really enjoyed White Sands National Park with Kuma. If we go again, I'd like to walk down a little further on the hike. And YES, the meteor crater must be seen in person for sure. Pictures do not do it justice.
@@travelpockets I was going to say I will stop by and say HI when you hit Arizona, but then saw it was filmed back in November 😂. I am thinking I am going out this week for my first Filming trial run. I was playing around with my 2 action cams and found a mic I had bought 2 years ago. Doesn't sound to to bad. Your channel is definitely a motivation for me to start moving forward 👍
@UCLZpH8QxtpWW3jSHg8J%F0%9F%98%85%F0%9F%98%85QyBg Haha yeah, it takes awhile to edit cross country road trips that are over a week. Plus, there were multiple cameras. Awesome!! Can't wait to see your road trip videos! So happy to hear that we helped you move forward😃
You guys are going from hot to cold! Ladies we drove from Louisiana to California and when we got to flagstaff/ Mojave desert area it was snowing after the thanks giving holiday. But it’s a very scenic trip! Great video
Thank you! Yeah, we were a little worried that it might possibly snow in Flagstaff that week but luckily it didn't. My car is not equipped to handle snow! I'm sure seeing snow in that area was beautiful tho!
I am going to do the same road trip. Am from Indonesia and always love the states. Studied and lived here before. I just wanted to say aside from the great video and the editing; you both have such a great chemistry and persona that make it so much more enjoyable To watch. You have a great attitude.
Hi, i like you videos of roadtrips, i when driving with my family from Orlando Fl to Las Vegas and to Hollywood CA last year and next month im going again but im worry about the high gas price overthere, do you know any short cut and gas station recommended during the trip??🤔
Thanks for watching our road trip adventures! Yeah, gas prices are the highest it has ever been, so that's something road trippers have to consider now😢 I don't know know of any short cuts. The fastest way is just take Interstate 10 straight through. Have a safe trip!!

I happened upon your channel the other day and have been binging your videos. I just love them! You’ve done a great job with filming and editing.
You're so sweet!! Thank you so much!😍
Watch Kuma in the last 20 seconds of the video... "I'm awake now....yes, I'm here, it's all about me...I would wave goodbye if I could..." LOL 🤣🤣🤣
She totally wanted to say something with us😂

I drove from Florida to California years ago me my wife and our two month old daughter I'm from New York originally
That's awesome! Having a two-month old must have been somewhat of a challenge too.
@@travelpockets yes it was long trip one time we went California from new York way back
Very inspiring for me as newbie youtuber 😊
Aww yay!! Welcome to the world of RUclipsrs👏
😊I'm a retired local singer and guitarist over 50 years from New York to Florida
Great road trip .I enjoyed it. You should have bought the cuddly toy. Its cute. 😀👍
Thank you so much! Hahaha, maybe next time 😁
We drove in our brand new Pontiac firebird at the time I drove the whole trip
I've made the trip from Houston to Orlando, and houston to LA, but never all the way across!
You should do it! Lots of fun :)
what toll pass / mini transponders are suggested for my road trip from WA to GA
Every state is different, so I would just carry cash with you

I love watching your videos! I’d love to drive cross country as well, how do you find the time?
Aww thank you so much!! That means a lot to us💕 If you have a week, you can make the cross-country trip happen😊
I'm trying to escape CA and move to FL!!!
Florida is great! It's just really humid here in the summers ;)
What is that on your seatbelts?
They are wireless mics :)
Do they ask you for anything at the New Mexico entrance ? I don’t have a passport …
Nope, they don't ask for anything. You just slow down and they wave you on by.
@@travelpockets thank you ❤️anything I should know before taking the road trip ?
"I'm like, Is that right? Those two sizes are the same price? He's like, "Yeah." I don't get it. Why?.....but, whatever."
Hahaha, love it!
😂😂😂 I totally forgot about that! Good times.
