I like to imagine myself on the road trips with my imaginary doh Kuma 😂. I hope you're able to make more either solo or road trip videos with your sister. I hope they will be comfortable .. What time of the year do you recommend doing that drive, I saw that you hit some fog.. Fog is kind of scary .. Lol .. Your doggie sure is cute.

      Hi Glen! Thank you so much for your lovely comment💕 So excited for your big drive coming up! I would say May or September is a great time to go because the weather in general is great and you get more daylight hours. The fog happens sometimes in the early mornings. It usually passes by quickly, so you should be okay if you come across any.

    I'm glad you took some time to explore Fort Stockton and Mobile this time! I want to do the same. When I did my road trip and stopped in Fort Stockton, I didn't have time to do anything there; the only place I went to there was a Walmart. 😄 Thank you for the info on where to go!
    I take it you're staying on I-10 through downtown San Antonio on these trips. If you want to bypass downtown, you can take Loop 1604; the northern portion passes north of downtown and connects to I-10 on the other side. Same goes for using I-610 to bypass downtown Houston.

    • @travelpockets

      @travelpockets  3 года назад +1

      Oh my gosh, so excited for you!! That's a big move! I mean, it can be done in two days as long as you're okay with driving about 13-15 hours a day. It really depends on how much driving you can handle in one day. The most I can do is probably 12 hours. But everyone is different :)

      @@Vinvidivici Of course! Nope, there are no toll roads on the I-10 route. Also, sorry, I was mistaken on how many hours a day you'd be driving if you're trying to make it in two days - you would have to drive about 18 hours a day (depending on where you leave from Florida), so that can be pretty tough. If you're going in March, weather should be pretty good, but I would make sure to check the weather forecast before you go. I like to plan out my entire trip and book hotels ahead of time so that I know where I'll be stopping and I know for sure I'll have a place to sleep.
