I drove from the bottom of germany all the way to the top of germany to hamburg. took me 6 hours and i saw lots of nice things on the way there, its so much different in america, i just love watching this. and the howl of the v8. damn. Just epic, keep it up!

When I was little my family had a beach house in Destin Florida and whenever we would drive there, I would see that exact same plane and my dad would tell me that he used to fly planes like that when he was in the Navy. Every time we reached Florida, my family would get all excited and tell me about how they just saw the plane and it would remind me I was almost to the house. Just cool to see it in a video idk.
The same man, I haven't been up that way in a while, but I always recognize that plane. Brought back so many memories of being with my family when I was younger and traveling.
I think he meant he was at 3/4th tank.. Down a quarter. Because he got gas a hour before he said that, started at half a tank, filled it up. Idk about anyone else but if my M ate 3/4th a tank in 1 hour I'd give it back to BMW for free.
Last January I drove my 08 e90 m3 from northern Iowa (Cedar Falls) to south Florida (Naples). Seven days later I retraced my route back. The m3 performed beautifully. I kept all my gas slips with intentions of doing fuel cost and gallons used report. I admit that economy was not a priority and rarely influenced my driving. Speed limits were "observed" (observed vs. obeyed). I had several tanks of fuel (+/- 300 miles) where I averaged triple digit mph. I had a few "OH SHIT" moments, yet made the trip with no stops or tickets. The journey was a solitary, yet very enjoyable time for me. I daily drive my m3 with 125k+ miles and when properly maintained they are rock solid reliable. I liked listening to your m3's exhaust throughout the video. It sounds incredible. (I will often drive mine with the radio off just to enjoy it.) Great video, thank you for sharing. Almost forgot, Happy birthday from the frigid north.

This is youre lifetime achievement good job I driven from east to west before that was back when I was on my 20s....you did awesome job...what a way to explore...I havent driven back home for a while in texas..last time I made a trip my car was total wreck cause of the deer right there at Louisiana..Its scared me to drive at night...Texas police watchout for those specially in interstate 10...Im from texas most of my ticket came from that section of interstate 10 between San Antonio and Katy Texas...watching this vids make me one to make a crosscountry road trip again...loves gas station...Pilot those are one of the best gas station they got so much stuff inside there store...amazing trip...thanks 4 sharing...

There's nothing like driving across the country, I did it twice this summer. Once in my V6 Accord HFP, then less than 2 months later in my BMW M2 S2. I went from PA to Newport Beach and back.(on both trips) The first trip was just to say i drove across the US without touching cruse control, then my 2nd trip i drove to do a couple car rally's Corsa and Midnight Run. I had one hell of a time my rally trip, and i hope to get to ALL the states (driving) within the next couple years. Its on my bucket list..

You will find Florida and an incredibly diverse place with many gems and 0 taxes. I'll be back for a visit next week. If you want some true Florida And variety head North. If you do it again, plan your gas stops and you can save a couple of hours and do it in one sleep stop. You did not pass through Flag Staff and Austin, TX, they are both well off your I10 route. All in all, very enjoyable.
I've watched this video so many times and now I'm back again to use the amount you spent on gas to estimate whether I should fly or drive back out to San Deigo later this year. I wanna drive but if the amount spent on gas is more then the plane tickets by a considerable amount then flying it shall be lmaooo. Hopefully gas is still as cheap if not cheaper then the low prices we're currently seeing. Either way I love your work! Armando Olivas I have a 328xi and my shit is HORRIBLE on gas 🙁🤣 10mpg. Typically on slightly longer highway drives it goes up to 12-14mpg. Maybe it’s the way I drive in the city lmaoo.
Because its a safe practice? Whether you let it run to e, or fill it at a half tank every time, youre still spending the same exact amount. He just now has reassurance he wont run out if something goes wrong.

Get ready for a lot of humidity, rain, and no mountains. But we do have great warm clear water at the beach at least. Winter time for like 3 months isn’t bad either.

The town of Moulton has a population less than a 1000 people and no traffic lights besides a flashing red for a stop sign. I actually graduated high school in Moulton with a graduating class of 32 kids.

Wow that gas is a killer. I’ve done the drive to Florida from Boston back to Boston and then back to Florida. So three times in my 328i which is a V6. Performed great but only spent 230 in gas. 300 in total including tolls. I’d figure at another 100 with the extra 10 hours coming from Cali. Nice video though!

The town of Moulton has a population less than a 1000 people and no traffic lights besides a flashing red for a stop sign. I actually graduated high school in Moulton with a graduating class of 32 kids.

Wow that gas is a killer. I’ve done the drive to Florida from Boston back to Boston and then back to Florida. So three times in my 328i which is a V6. Performed great but only spent 230 in gas. 300 in total including tolls. I’d figure at another 100 with the extra 10 hours coming from Cali. Nice video though!
