I have a 76’ Oldsmobile. No airbags, broken transmission, 20 year old tires, starts, holes in roof, peeling paint, trunk is broken and has been locked for 12 years, rare parts, radio bezel is at an angle, dash cracking, steering wheel falling apart, no working radio, goes in reverse.

Going slow, first or second, hitting the 40's to 60's you take it to 3rd or 4th, cruising above 75 you wanna put it into 5th. Each of the gears let's the car drive easier and puts less strain on it long term. I'd love it if you replied saying "Oh but i've driven a manual for 4034 years!!!!!!" No you haven't. If you think that the reason automatic > manual is because you/people you've been in a manual with can't drive in fucking traffic, then you're an idiot and shouldn't be comparing the two. Hint: You change gears to match the required speed!

Daily driver is a 2015 Ram 1500 3.6 litter that I have had for a year next week. I do love it and am enjoying it. The only thing I would do differently is I would get the Hemi motor. Loving the Tacoma though. That color is insane. Congrats on the new truck

They are not. Had a Toyota Verso and the engine failed at 200.000km. Got no warranty or reduced repairs, they wanted me to buy a new engine. I never will buy a Toyota again, happy now with Mercedes.
I bought a new 2019 Ford Ranger FX4 ( no Toyota dealer anywhere close)...& I am extremely happy with it. Eco-boost 4 banger, 4 x 4, high ground clearance, seems good off road, 10 speed tranny, etc. it rides well, gets good mileage, & I added my own extra off road lights,etc. I had two really decent vehicles to trade in, & got a good price, plus I transferred an added bumper to bumper warranty...so I now have 8 yrs. of bumper to bumper coverage. I drive my vehicles for years to get my money's worth...& I plan to drive this vehicle for at least 15 yrs....hopefully 20. I'm not a young pup anymore, retired now, & live away from any metros....kind of out in the sticks. We have both paved & unpaved roads, & a few squirrel paths....so this vehicle suits me. I am a "pick up man"...& don't need to haul heavy trailers anymore...& my other 4 x 4 is a Jeep. I think I'm good for now.
I had a 2018 Tacoma 4x4 Off road automatic in inferno orange. 2 teenage boys and a preteen girl convinced me that they needed more room in the cab and in the bed so I traded it for a 2019 Tundra 4x4 automatic in black. It is more spacious inside and I have taken full advantage of the bed size many times, but, I regret it so so much. I will be trading back pretty soon. I really prefer the way the Tacoma drives and feels.
Awesome! We don't get Tacomas in Australia, we get Hilux's, they're similar but majority are diesel instead of petrol. My dream car would be a 200 series LandCruiser!

That 400W outlet may be on the low side. I like the truck, but a bigger inverter would be nice since a circular saw pulls over a thousand watts. 400W translates to about three and a half amps...
Two things I want in a truck. 1: Cummins Turbo Diesel 2: Manual Transmission. I hate that you can't get the manual transmission in anything anymore. Not even Semi Trucks have them now.
My dad has a 2013 Toyota Tundra (which is the bigger version of the Tacoma) and it has held up really well for the past couple of years. My mom also has a Toyota Camry and we have had it for 8 years and it works fine. Neither of them were brand new when we first bought them either. My dad has been kind of an advocate for the quality of Toyota's as far as I can remember (started with a '95 4Runner SR5, then a 2005 4Runner Sport, and this past Christmas, he went to upgrade again, this time to the 2013 4Runner Trail) And I am super lucky and grateful to have inherited the 2005, which, for having almost 300 000 km (or about 186 000 miles) still runs and drives great!

J'nCplaysmc iPhone X doesn't have a usb port, lol. Samsung on the other has a usb type c, and gives you an adapter to get usb type a.
My dad has a 2013 Toyota Tundra (which is the bigger version of the Tacoma) and it has held up really well for the past couple of years. My mom also has a Toyota Camry and we have had it for 8 years and it works fine. Neither of them were brand new when we first bought them either. I want a Tacoma when I'm able to drive in a year so I can "finish the set" lmao
The One And Only Jay why does a 16 year old need a truck? Lol trust me dude, get a car with good gas mileage. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee as my first car think “oh yea this so awesome” until I realized that literally all of my money from my part time job was going to gas. Now that I’m not a dumbass kid anymore I bought a car with 42mpg and it’s the best thing in the world. I mean do what you want but trust me, real life will hit you in a couple years and you’re going to wish you had a different car lol

Hope you have fun with the new truck! My dad has been kind of an advocate for the quality of Toyota's as far as I can remember (started with a '95 4Runner SR5, then a 2005 4Runner Sport, and this past Christmas, he went to upgrade again, this time to the 2013 4Runner Trail) And I am super lucky and grateful to have inherited the 2005, which, for having almost 300 000 km (or about 186 000 miles) still runs and drives great!

Yoooooo this is awesome man I'm so happy for you my man. I have a 2007 Toyota Tacoma with about 80 k miles runs like an absolute champ I want to get a 2018 Tacoma but I don't really need it because my truck is still "new" anyways great pick man and hope you love it !!!!!
“Toyota’s never die” tell that to my dead Celica motor at 70k miles a few months after I bought the car, I just hope that the refurbished motor does at least another 100k miles -.-

The newer 7th gen celicas had a Yamaha designed motor which were way more junky than the older ones.
