RagingTiger I called the Tacoma in the video with 10 grand in off road mods a mall crawler. It will never go off-road. The mods are for looks not function. I mean a waste of a lot of money.

That surface rust is normal for all the unpainted surfaces. Paint them as soon as you buy a new vehicle to lessen this effect. I use an exhaust pipe wire hanger(auto parts store) to support the caliper and its hose during suspension work. The add on shock reservoir is for extended offroad use that causes heat in the shock oil, adding capacity reduces heating and keeps the shock consistent. The spring won’t get stiffer as you raise the ride height, unless you put the spring into a bind. But you will change the roll centers with even more height than the lift kit had at lower settings, so it might ride even stiffer from those angle changes. Are you doing anything for added axle deflection, or the inner tie rod added angles?
The phone teardown is the best I have seen so far, it's considerably more detailed than your other teardown videos. The phone is also pretty big and makes pretty good use of space for its size, unlike some underpowered overpriced glass phone.
Toyota specifically meantions they didn't move to rear dics because the rear brakes only do 20 percent of the braking. So they decided not to add the extra cost to the truck. That said I have a 2011 Tacoma and would prefer rear discs
drum brakes wont slip when you put your boat in a lake in fact they tighten as you roll back... smh people really think a disk is going to hold with water surrounding it... not the subject but kust saying trucks are meant for work traditionally.
The internet has been waiting for a tear-apart-a-toyota video, it's finally here! We all know Toyota makes the most reliable cars. But nobody ever demonstrates part by part on what makes it reliable!
Americans love to believe that lifting there trucks will increase the performance off-road. You not changing the clearance to your rear diff on that Tacoma and adding stress to the front CVs, bigger tires makes more sense.
did my fronts by myself took about 10 hours , that included doing the ECGS bushing... of course I went with Dobinsons MRA 2.5" kit. leafs are going on tomorrow.
I did pretty much the exact same kind of suspension upgrade to my 120 Prado, Remote Res, sway bar relocation, extended travel upper control arms. Big job
I used hand tools on my truck and did it on my own. Took me about 14 hours. So about 10 hours is definitely faster. Great job. Your lift wont actually give you more clearance if you don't upgrade the wheels and tires. The lift functions to provide more room for the new wheels and tires as well as having more travel for the suspension. The clearance won't change because you're lifting from the axle, therefore the main clearance area (axle and diff) isn't moving, only the body of the truck. With new wheels, you can install tires with a much larger sidewall (profile) and that will lift the truck (including the diff and axle) off the ground.
Alien Gamer that Doogee Mix 4 is not launched yet, MrWhoseTheBoss unboxing the prototype did not even had a worling display, just a high definition photo at front was put to make us fool, and still 95% screen to body ration is hard to achieve, and that sliding 'nostalgia' effect would just give defects to the phone here and there for sure.
II had to subscribe because you're a Toyota Lover. I am too. I've kept my current Toyota 4-Runner stock because I'm now crippled and the stock height allows me to easily get into and out of. I love my 4-Runner!
I can see that tape job after poking out the plastic caps being a long term issue with water and eventually rust. Seems like only one of the plastic caps was going to keep the external reservoir from being flush with the frame.
A real OG will run it without the sway-bar for more droop and smoother articulation off-road. Ditched mine at 8k thousand miles and never looked back. The Icon C/O's are plenty stiff enough compensate for the body roll, not to mention if you tighten up the pre-load. If you get some time, try it with, and without.
