After missing out on haliburton last year by just a couple of points I’m glad I pushed my pass accuracy to 89. Yeah LeBron was cool and magic Johnson looked cool but with 2k those animations would usually get stopped by locks due to its windup
Don’t sleep on bounce passes. The animations are super crisp

Facts the only thing that improves is the speed kind of. The accuracy is non existent it just throws it straight at the opponent.
Got to incorporate the bounce pass and lob. The bounce pass animations are tweeked out
@sunsettim9106 Then don't throw into the lane. I know there's a bug that happens once in a full moon where people basically teleport into the passing lane... However, the rest is your fault. They made it to where animations in passing lanes actually make sense. It used to be that you guys could get away with bad passes because even with high interceptor, players would get really bad/slow animations that would literally never happen from an NBA player. Now, people can actually steal the ball when reading the pass is coming. It's your fault 90% of the time if you're getting those turnovers. Stop throwing into the passing lane if the defender is there. That's bball 101. Fake a pass every once in a while if people are spamming, it'll send them into the next dimension, leaving your teammate wide open.
As a pass first PG, with the way interceptor works this year I'm happy that i went 91 to get Hali pass style, silver VV, and silver Bail Out.
Most PGs i face have low passing as evident by there being relatively few builds with "playmaker" in the name.
The problem is the builder is unbalanced. Steal is WAY cheaper than pass acc, so 95% of guards at least have an 85 steal. And the main problem is at 85 steal you get gold intercepter, while at 85 pass acc (which is more expensive) you still have bronze visionary 😂😂😂. You can’t even sacrifice steal to get more pass acc in the builder, it’s a joke
Because passing is expensive af. Nobody putting points into passing until late. The cost of pass rating makes no sense at all, especially with how cheap steal is
I really like Mike Conley passing style so far, give it a try if you guys have 90 passing and haven't tried it yet.

The absolute minimum has to be 78 where u get bronze VV(i know some ppl say 85 for bronze BO but in my opinion, BO is a niche badge and if ur making a build bc u need that badge, ur already in trouble bc u shouldn't be game planning to pass out of shot attempts enough for it to be relevant) and seeing content creators giving ppl builds with like 71 or sometimes lower is just baffling to me
I hate some of the content creator builds misleading people saying stuff like u should be just fine with this rating
I’m a pass first iso lock and I only play 2s, 60 pass accuracy is perfectly fine, I used 56 last year.
Bail out is good as I do a euro step layup but bail out and 80% off the time someone leaves a man open

I think versatile visionary combats intercepter if you read the description, you have to have high steals to get HOF or legend so you would need a high pass HOF or legend versatile visionary, a well timed HOF interception will out do a silver VV, my build is HOF but i also have good IQ, if you see someone open most likely they do too so wait for them to go for it
But it is crazy how you can get intercepter gold at 85 but takes a 95 for VV
But tutes you should test VV vs interception stats

Doesn't matter what it is with the way lane steals are. Everyone saying they want realistic but people with 85 plus steal launch halfway across the court. Ga.e needs a couple changes and shooting isn't the worst
Moving shots from 3pt and midrange make % and attribute ratings would be cool to test and know what’s the best
I have a 95 pass acc. For gold versatile visionary and I can tell a huge difference in how fast I get my passes off. I feel like it combines a bunch of badges from last year like touch passer, special delivery, and needle threader. That’s why it takes 99 pass accuracy to get it to legend and why dimer only takes 98. If you could test my theory tutes I would appreciate it.

It's crazy that at a 99 pass accuracy the average score is still only 2.3. This game is built to discourage passing. With 99 pass accuracy you still end up throwing the ball straight out of bounds, or randomly into a defenders back after getting a weird pass animation. If I invest 99 whole points into my passing, I should never misplace a simple straight line pass!

I'm at 89 and was gonna use some of my cap breaker on it, but it's not looking worth it at the moment. Really depends how good the badges are. I'm averaging 11 assist but these lanes are wild.

My PF build is awesome...but one thing I regret is only maxing 70 pass accuracy. This was more than enough in previous 2K's for a secondary ballhandler in park...but in 2K25 it sucks. My passes are always half a second late, and just feel sloppy

If you are going low pass acc dont go lower than 78, and you still have be smart with the passes you choose to take. 82 for gold dimer if you can squeeze it out.

Can you test the playmaking takeover? Does it help with teammates jump shots, alley oops and flashy passes? Which does it increase the most? Does it increase pass speed, improve catch animations?
Can you do Posterizers with and without strength to see how often youll fail meter dunks with high driving dunk and high strength vs low strength

Great vid although I have 89 pass acc and it’s still terrible even with Tyrese pass style. Interceptor is either too good or pass accuracy just sucks because the passes just aren’t even fast.

Bro do not waste your bread on a 5’9 unless you’re comp asf and run with a team in proam on the regular. That’s a very niche build for a specific type of gamer
@tjf.994 I've always ran a small guard just not that small I usually go 6'0 for my pg builds I know I can play on the build the only thing I was worried about is the contest system this year I'm worried people are just gonna shoot over me even if I play good defense

Please do a jump-shooters height and the impact it has to get contested by a defender
So people have reason to believe that higher pass accuracy 1 puts you in better position to score off cuts and 2 will make better pass decisions when you don’t icon… anyway to test those theories???
I’m a SF so I went with 80. I may get 10 out of the 15 cap breakers so maybe I’ll bump it up to 85.
If you're really a pass first PG then I feel like you have to at least I have a 78. I average 12 assist on my guard and 10 on my big and I have it at a 78. The only reason why it's not higher is because I also score so those points had to come from somewhere. I think as long as you can make the right reads you're good.

75-78 is the bare minimum you should go if you are a play-making build.. 78 you VV on Bronze..

Does pass accuracy help you catch the ball regardless of the passer’s rating? I have a 88 pass accuracy and in mycareer it says I have a 88 hands as well. People might need to upgrade their passing to get better catches

i wanna know how much vert plays a part in grabbing boards and for example if you have 99 oboard and 99 dboard and 99 vert will you get rebounds over someone that just has the 99 oboard and 99 dboard. if so vert is an extension of oboard and dboard
