5:40 This Porsche looks like a Volkswagen because the first VW ever, the VW Beetle is based on the Porsche. Basically Hitler told Mr. Ferdinand Porsche to build as many cars for the people as possible, in German "volks" mean "people" and "wagon" means "car", hence Volkswagen translates to "people's car"
@@TakeaBreakASMR I'm doing ok. Been getting out and trying to move a bit. The surgeon recommend walking as much as I could. Still heartbroken for the loss of our dog Sophie, but I know she is no longer in pain, and that's what matters. Thank you son for the cars from all of us.

A movie I would recommend watching about the Ford GT40 is _Ford v. Ferrari_. Basically, Ford wanted to buy Ferrari, but Ferrari said no because it would mean Ford ran Enzo's baby: Scuderia Ferrari, the racing team for Le Mans and F1. Furious, Henry Ford II had Carol Shelby (already working with Ford on making the Cobra 427) help build him a car that would beat (the then unbeatable) Ferrari at Le Mans. The GT40 was born, but on it's first outing at Le Mans, it did not do too well. The second version, the MK.II (Mark 2) would finish with a 1-2-3 podium. It was the first time an American company won at Le Mans, and the GT40 would continue to win at Le Mans for 4 years straight. It did help that Ken Miles was behind the wheel of one of them.
This was great! What a fun idea with the house then the cars. And those mysterious little tunnels in the river. Curiosity abounds! 🚗🚙
I’m glad you liked it! Thank you!
