When Tomo uploads, it’s a good day! I remember the first game and it was super immersive, feels like forever ago! The vibe Dead Island has with living alongside the dead rather than hordes of zombies and levels. It had such a way of lulling you into a chill exploration mode then BAM, horror vibe kicks in ...this one looks just as good!
We need more survival games like this, especially with the “districts” they use, massive open worlds are cool and all but they always feel empty in parts of the map, this game has that open world feel and those attentions to detail but minus the emptiness of a massive open world
Really? To me it feels like your weapon isn't registering or damaging precisely where you hit, and it just throws their ragdoll through the air after attacked. Too unrealistic and corny.
@@theodorechill yeah I agree on that. The zombies don’t fall down or get pushed realistically at all. Very corny. I was talking about just getting hit. If you hit a limb of a zombie. How it acts when you do so. Hitting it from behind it stumbles forward a little bit ect. The detail physics and any animations

General area cause and effect is nice but could use a little work. Boneworks is a great example of how it could be done.

great gameplay-focused titles that centers between the fun of killing the undead, story-wise as literally presented as goals to give players purpose and to add something to digest among the gameplay. the openworld as a hub or segment keep the content compact and concise, easy to get things infront, also the environmental storytelling is great and mostly adds humor.
I really tought this game was going to suck from the numerous delays, studio changes, and the marketing, but it looks really good and polished at launch. ggs to the devs

This game is everything I was hoping it would be and more. The gameplay is smooth, the enemies are awesomely gross and terrifying and it has the old dead island feel. You can tell the devs put some heart and soul into keeping this game rooted in the core of the game itself also theres some serious jump scares in this too. Love it so far. I'm playing on Xbox series x and the graphics are amazing on my monitor. No complaints from this guy lol
Was about to grab it .. watched this video . Second guessing my self for 98$ CAD on ps5 store .. looks far to repetitive with the combat and circuit breakers … idk man .. can anyone change my mind ? Are there hundreds of blueprints or just like 20-40? Are blueprint solely collected by quests or can you find numerous ? Did anyone get bored after shortly playing a few hours ? Genuinely curious ..?!

This looks interesting but unless there's a way in the settings to turn off the protagonist immediately explaining the solution to a problem - "I bet there are more circuit breakers in the garage!" - I think I'll pass as that drives me up a wall. Let me at least try and find a solution before you tell me what to do. 🙄 Loved the gameplay with Jack though and watching you guys play this through would be fantastic.
I was suprised to see this today, completely forgot about this release. I remember playing the original on release and really loving the game, but the leveling bug in multiplayer killed the co-op for me! This looks awesome and i'm hoping its the game we all wanted.
