It's not that some of us enjoy being by ourselves, it's just that some of us have had too many issues in past relationships and are afraid to get hurt again. I live in the Caribbean and our men are more focused on the flesh than trying to build something solid
God is love. Love has never solely been romantic. It's just an energy, essence, aura, and frequency. You're either love or incapable of being, feeling, receiving, or giving healthy love. We have to heal at the root and get back to the true essence of what love is. Love didn't hurt you. Someone who said they loved you hurt you. Likely, because they were hurt. Love is a beautiful thing, and it's truly unconditional, in its purest form. Healthy boundaries are important, but also not personalizing people's choices. Love and seek God first to learn to love yourself and others in a healthier way.
i just want to say thank you. I'm a woman who chooses to watch faithfully because even though men is your target audience, I don't have nor have I had a positive/ healthy example of manhood in my life. I'm now raising children alone, two of my four being sons, and the things i learn from watching this platform blesses me to raise men in a way that can resonate with them as healthy because i now have real life examples of what manhood looks like. However, it makes sense what the Pastor is saying as well that no matter what both parents being present in the home give more to the children positively and if the home is actually positive and quality even better.
"Discipline is far cheaper than regret. Some don't really know what love is. I give up myself for you." These points are key. Allow your love to flourish. "Don't fail to finish! " This is very valuable information.
Pastor Keion, you better say a word in here today..."We get in it thinking we're being fulfilled but we're being emptied." This is so true. After abstaining and having a clear mind about what I truly want in a mate, when I had sex again, I felt disgusted by my lustful action that now I don't even desire sex. I desire a real relationship that will fill my spirit and be pleasing to God.

Powerful conversation. Too often men forget all about intimacy if its not getting him off - especially in marriage- because there is a general concensus that women are OBLIGATED to give of herself for physical sex to her husband - even if she does not get intimacy from her man...before, during and after intercourse. In some instances, a woman can't even cuddle, hug, massage or touch her man in any way without him turning that affection into a physical sexual encounter. A man assumes a woman should be flattered. However, a woman might need more than the physical interaction to connect to her man on a deeper level. Now what? Question: Can the typical man go deeper than the "bang bang" ?

I was married for 10yrs to my medicine...year 6 I started therapy and things rapidly went downhill. Been divorced almost a year now and never felt more at peace
I've viewed my husband as not loving me because he didn't go out and work. Or keep multiple income streams coming into the house. So in turn, I took that as him, not loving me, because that's what my father did for our household he provided
I've been in my single-season for about 3 years or so, And I'm in my mid-forties. I cannot say I gave up on dating, but I'm just taking time to figure things out.
