There are a lot of good actors out here pretending to be the full package and will lie, deceive and manipulate to get what they want in the present. Some are more susceptible to this because of trauma and past abuse too. I don’t sleep around, I’m sober and celibate and people still playing a fool’s game whilst pretending they are a King/Queen. Sometimes you can be doing everything right and end up with dusty people. Abusive people are professionals at deceiving, manipulation and lying. I know many good people who have ended up in situations like this and are good hearted. Sometimes it’s more complicated, there are some nasty people out here.

Men are not looking for a Christian woman, I've spoken to a few and once the conversation turns to God and things of a deeper nature they out wit the quickness...some try to stick around to see if it's a front but when they realize it's not, they move on. I've seen it as God's covering and protection 🙏🏾

If there is a mutual interest, both should be able to spend on each other or come to an understanding of going Dutch. This hit the NAIL . I am 27 husband is 34 and I recently initiated a separation due to my husband's lack of motivation providing always getting fired gaslighting me calling me his mom and more. What really did it we had to move from FL to VA due to him getting fired again and I couldn't hold it all together myself even when i worked 55 hours weekly. He is not with me and our toddler but I feel a huge weight off my shoulders . I don't have to worry about a whole other adult anymore. I start my old job back next week even more pay got benefits for me and our son and looking to get my own apartment in 6 months or so. He is around our son ofcourse I want my family but i look back when I was 21 when we first meet . The day he told his mom he was moving out she told me he wasn't ready to move out when he was 27! I was so native and didn't know better . Don't get me wrong we had so many good memories and we share a handsome son but now I need to take control of my life again . Just thought being with a older men was best . He is 34 btw
Going through a similar thing with a man 15 years old than me. It breaks my heart to break up my family but being a married single mom is too much pressure. I've waited for 13 years for him to begin to atleast meet me halfway but I'm finally coming to understanding he's incapable. I love very much still but it's too draining. Definitely take your life back while you're young.
I think sometimes people make things harder than they are. Know what you want. When you meet some that you are interested in; pay attention both words and behavior. It may take a little while (and a variation of circumstances) to truly see who a person is. And always remember to move at your own pace. Don’t let anyone make you feel like you have to do something that doesn’t feel right within.
I had to come back at look at this over in tears her delivery was stern but she was so right we fall into traps due to low self worth and confidence and not trusting but not knowing how to trust anybody and not being nurtured so you search for the wrong things . I see so much clearer walking away from my last relationship and being abstinent .
