Day 1 has been rough. Thank you for this!! 💛
Yesterday has been my day 1 too! We in this together lol
today is my second day, did you guys get used to it ? how many hours approximately you wear ? i think i care too much
@@gentlelife8415 I'm 44, so my treatment plan is not like most. I have to wear my aligners for 3 weeks, then switch to the 2nd trays - wait another 3 weeks and change to the 3rd trays. Then mid July I'll go back and have a checkup and hopefully get 3 more sets of trays. I have to wear mine for 12 months.😒 I think mine bothered me the most the first few days, but since I wear them for 3 weeks (almost there), they feel fine. I don't really even notice them anymore. That is until Sunday when I change my trays lol. I think the worst part is the constant care and cleaning they need or they get gross, but if you change yours every week you should be good. I lost 5 lbs cause I'm not snacking or drinking Dr. Pepper anymore (it tastes funny to me now 🥺). I give myself an hour in the am to drink coffee... sometimes that goes into an hour and a half. I really try to keep them in 22 hours a day. I'm not spot on, but I'm doing my best since this is still new to me.
I hope you have good results and you aren't dealing with too much discomfort! Sorry for the novel version 😂
@@Juliemarie311 Thank you for respond Julie, my orthodontist told me that i need to change every 2 weeks, already got like 6-7 alligners with me. I am 31 years old and i assure you the age is not a huge hold up but my pretty crooked teeth are. lets have straight teeth in already 6 month 🤞🏻
@@gentlelife8415 Sounds good to me!!
Thank you!! I’ve been at this top tray for 20 minutes. Once I watched your video, it was out almost immediately.
Thank you! My nine year old was in tears tonight. First evening with his trays. We watched your video, he got aggressive with the tongue-side yank - and Bob’s yer uncle, he’s now a pro! He wanted me to comment to thank you! So, thank you!
Nice to hear! Hope it's going well
Yes!! Thank you so much!! My daughter didn’t know how to get hers out, but was able to do so after seeing this video!
Glad to hear it!
Life changing!!!❤
Awesome!
Why didn’t they tell me this in the orthos office?!! I’ve been through pain and awkward moments with my device getting stuck to my back molars and me salivating all over the place!!!
Same day one is the hardest it takes me about 15 minutes to take both out thank you ❤
You are so welcome!
I use that method but SOOO tight I have to REALLY pull in both sides and still sticks to middle teeth- excruciating
Same for me, I take out both sides and it remains stucked in the middle...so painful
samee, I now dread the moment I have to eat and remove these damn things because it hurts so bad to get them off, especially the middle teeth. Have you got any suggestions since your comment was 8 months ago and you are probably an expert now😅?
@@VinyZikssafter liberating both sides, try to push slightly forward the tray so the air comes inside and it will be much easier to take it out
I just got it on today and he told me to take it off when eating only so I have been trying g for the past 37 minutes to take it off buts it's not working 😭😭
Edit:ok fi ally after so much pain I took them off, I felt my teeth falling
Thanks for the tip. It’s my third day today, I felt the pressure but no pain since day 1. After putting on my first tray, me and my husband proceeded to a restaurant, it will be hard to eat with the tray’s on. I went to the restroom, grabbed a paper towel and clipped the tray between my fingers then pull it out, voila, easy peasy! The paper towel will even catch your saliva. 😂
As if. I am absolutely hating my invisalign experience. I've broken both index fingernails, down to the painful quick. This is completely unacceptable, that we have to paw through our mouths like animals. Edit: After ripping my mouth and gums to shreds by using chopsticks to leverage these things out; I have since purchased aligner hooks from amazon and they have improved the clawing out experience quite a bit.
Thank you for the comment about aligner hooks! I didn't know about it so just bought it.
"that we have to paw through our mouths like animals." What the heck
@@VinyZikss haha insulting to animals I know😂
My issue is the bottom tray😢
Me too and I haven't eaten in 22hrs and only take it off to brush my teeth last night and this morning!
It's a struggle hill to take it off and put it on. I am loosing my will to continue and I'm only on day 2!
@@__taestea my first day , it is so uncomfortable, I can't sleep 😢
@@yaasmiinn How is it now? I did cry on my first day , it pained a lot , due to exhaustion frm the pain and the long travel I had, I slept after a while... I had no pblm sleeping there on. It indeed felt uncomfortable first few days , but I got used to it , sometimes I forget it even exists until I'm abt to eat my meals. It was only difficult for the first 3 days or so. After that there was little to no pain and I was able to remove the alligners with my hand , without using the tool. I will put on 2nd set tonight so a bit tensed T-T
So don't you worry , even tho it might depend on each person , everything will turn out fine
I’m on my third day and it hurts so bad. Does the second set also hurt for the first few days, or is it like it was never there still?
@@PasteltheRooster The second set did hurt the first few days and I had a bit of a struggle fitting the bottom tray but now it's completely fine !
I get my trays this week and that's one of the one things I was concerned about. I read people who just started their treatment, were crying and panicking cuz they couldn't get it out. 😅😅😅
Thank you so much for this tip. Helped me tremendously.
YOU SIR, ARE AWESOME! Thank You very much.
Going to try this. Thank you! Day 2 has been a nightmare.
Thanks man my boys were having a hard time on day one! My man
Appreciated this a lot man 🙌🏻
You're welcome
You are awesome!
No, you are
First 3 days are rough 😢
I am so uncomfortable right now , I can't sleep 😭
So funny. Thanks for this. My top one is really hard to take out. This makes it look dead easy.
You're welcome
Super helpful! Thank you!!
One of my front teeth sticks out so whenever i try to take it off im scared ill pull it out too
*IT'S NOT WORKING* it's stuck on my 2 front teeth
Same, unfortunately ):
Whew thank you
You saved me god bless you
Glad it helped. Thank you
My fingernails are too thin, but my thumbnails are perfect.
That might work if I didn't have an attachment on almost every single one of my fricken teeth. Ive already chiped one of my attachment and I honestly think I may have cracked one of my teeth.
Oh boy !
omg. That sounds painful ToT
THANKYOUU
It's my first day today, facing lot of challenges. I am sure this will help
Its my first day too tell me when its get easier also do your teeth pain while removing it
My first day today! Wish me luck. Feel so strange haha
I am glad someone is able to make light of this. I am scared. 😂
MY TRICK- use a Kleenex or dry paper napkin over your finger to catch that tray edge. I keep my nails trimmed very short and struggled to get my trays out (both top and bottom, lots of attachments), and as soon as I figured out this hack, popping them out is SO easy... Try it!
Tried it. Didn't work
Thanks dude
Dr my front teeth is in so much pain😢😢😢😢I can't take of my aligner
Hopefully that was just the first week, it gets a lot easier and not painful after that.
Day one here, im just screaming to take them off ...aagghhh
mine dont do that, it gets stuck on the button idk what to do, its SO painful to take out and my nails arent strong enough for it
It shouldn't be painful after the first week. You can try a aligner remover, it's a plastic little hook you can buy on amazon.
Great,,,but could you please post a video With a person having a very disaligned teeth ?, thanks..
Awesome thanks
I have loads of attachments on my top ones plus they’re at angles, I’ve tried this technique but it doesn’t work because of the many attachments on my front teeth :-(
I’m suffering.
THANK YOUUU
You're welcome
does not work for me like that
🤨
No nails on first fingers…had but they peeled backwards…it helped pop them off…not sure what to do
help me with removering for lower jaw as well
It doesn't come out this easily.
