Ive been going to a place called second and charles outside of Lubbock Texas and theyve had Dragons Fury for sale for a little over 100 bucks for over a year now. While digging through my collection recently I discovered I have a complete copy that I mustve bought back in 2011 when I first started collecting. Been watching reviews for the past half hour and yours seems super composed and well researched. Super cool. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for making me aware of this game, Mr. Hyde. I'll definitely be checking this out.

That woman morphing into a dragon will never cease to give me chills. I struggle to describe how.

It's a really effective visual. It'd be one thing if it was a switch between the beginning and end states, but seeing her gradually become more monstrous like a demonic timelapse is quite the effect.

Wow the Sega music is awesome. I always loved the sound of the genesis.
    Great review dude.

The Genesis version is good, but imo they messed up the gameplay. For example, randomness is a part of any pinball experience. But Devil’s Crush handles it better. Over 30 years after release, Devil’s Crush is still, by far, the best video pinball game ever made.

I started playing this game last, week and boy is it hard. I really do not see myself ever clearing all bonus stages on just 2 balls. So I was also looking online for videos showing expert play, preferably a 1CC, but could not find any. Still its a very nice game though.
Actually just found an almost 4h video that clears the JP MegaDrive game. Apparently you have to max out the score and then beat a final boos to get the ending.

What?? The PC-Engine's soundtrack, particularly in the main table theme, is totally superior to the Mega Drive's. They didn't even get the melodies right for the MD, were missing many awesome additional notes, harmonies, long pitch slides/glissandos, the clear sounds of the bells and lost all the amazing slow delay effects and reverb in the main table theme that was in the PCE version. There's even muted parts in the main table theme, losing the full track that was in the original.
However, what's much better in the MD version of the game are the graphics in the additional stages as well as in some re-imagined ones. Not all the graphics are better though. The woman's face that turns into a demon and her transformations, for example, were drawn MUCH better on the PCE. The bottom table/level was also better drawn with finer detail than on the MD. The stage with the 3 skulls was also drawn better on the PCE. In the MD version the skulls had weird, misshapen heads, but not in a good way. The color pallets on the PCE version were better for the main tables and all the lights looked more like the way pinball machine lights look. For the game, the MD version wins (it has so much more than the original), but for the soundtrack, in all the same tracks, the PCE version wins all the way.
