best pinball video game I have ever played. Devil's Crush was very good too, but I think the bonus stages in this one (something that couldn't be done in real pinball like this) are better.

Just downloaded this game on the PS3.. you're right, it's addicting. This is my kinda pinball game. And, on the PS3, there's a save feature! I'm going to see if I can't see the end screen. I'm using the save feature to basically cheat, so I never die (just load last save after dying). If there is one I'll take a crappy iPhone video of it. As for simulating pinball on the small screen, check out Zen Pinball. It's pretty damn close.
I highly recommend you go try "Flipnic" on the PS2, one of my alltime fave pinball games. Also the one on XBLA is awesome too. But my fave as a kid was Pinball Fantasies and Pinball Illusions on the Amiga.
Looking forward to seeing the Devil Crash review! Alien Crush was a great game but Devil Crash was one of my fav pinball games not just on the PC Engine but on any other system!
I'm a sucker for pinball... But I can never find any pinball machines anymore. But the way you described this simulation of a pinball game, has convinced me. After all, you are the pinball champ (and I believe you. The other guy probably cheated).
I try to be "accurate" and "true" and not let my nostalgic / personal feelings get in the way . You know? But, in the end, this is a TurboGrafx review show and I find myself being bias toward the games. So, most of them will get at least an average rating or above, because I feel like they deserve it (where others would be more critical as they would compare it to other systems and games). I try to be detailed in the review so others can form their own opinion if they don't agree with mine.
@TheNintendo101 Well....as of now yeah (that and the pinball-side of the channel). When I finish the series in a few years, maybe I'll sneak off into another territory (though I did do a Super Mario Galaxy review once, somewhere in my uploads). :)

Oh yeah! Definitely an awesome "translation" of the regular Pinbot full-size machine. I had that and High Speed. I thought they did a good job with both. :)
I'm not really sure. I know with Devil's Crush......you actually "destroy" the table at the end (something I'll NEVER be able to do, but you can enter a password to maximize the score and see the ending). WIth AC, I'm not really sure.
I just bought this yesterday off of PSN for my PSP. Let me tell you: Playing this and Bonk's Adventure on a portable is pretty enticing. I also heard you need to score 999,999,900 points to see the ending. There's only one thing to make that manageable: Hello save feature! Still a cool game!

I remember being a kid and my family and I would spend hours playing this game.
Now, this is a game I got just months after I got the TG16 console.
The best pinball/video game for me was Pinbot for the Nes,it was a fun game!

It is coming. And, I have to agree with you. As far as pinball on a home-system.....DC is one of my definite favs!
Not having a save feature could actually end up being a major problem if you're having a super long game and you can't finish it all at one time.

@Corad4 Yes, I like Zen Pinball. It's quite good. The Williams Pinball collection is also a good representation of the real thing, surprisingly. :)
