I just turned 46 last week and i'm still amaze but not surprised how people still talking about this track. I remember when i had my Pc Engine whit this game at around 14 or 15 years old and when i started the game it was a slap in my face, i had the pc engine plugged in to stereo system of my parents and i just turned the volume up and up, i never forget that moment. Like you said, you can feel when people put love and work in something and here we have that case, all the ost of this game is outstanding, and to be honest the Genesis (Megadrive) port sounds really good to. Thanks to bring me back awesome memories!
If you wanna hear an absolute banger from the same era, you should hear Thunder Force 4 - Metal Squad, and its remade rendition that includes the game's intro; Lightning Strikes Again.
'-' metaaaal! Thanks for checking it out. This game was the sickest pinball game ever, is what basically developed my love of prog and melodic death metal as a kid, and also gave me nightmares cause I was way too young to be playing it. I've been lazy with my requesting but will root around the ol' archives and try and get in some more lesser-known stuff. Amiga, TG-16, Zx-Spectrum, Sharp X68000, lots to explore!
@@IceRuler Good pick! I am a Tim Follin simp so I was gonna pick some stuff from his collection once I find something...probably out of LED Storm, or Bionic Commando.
I'd like to share my appreciation to Torenhire for requesting oldschool stuff when I was too cowardly to. :D Great song. And kudos to you Jesse for being able to appreciate it, as we knew you would.
I recommend listening to "Battle for Everyone's Souls" by Shoji Meguro, from the Persona 3 Soundtrack. The song plays during the final boss battle (followed by a scripted end fight with "Burn My Dread ~Last Battle~" playing over it, another good song), and is the culmination of the fight between the protagonists, and the antagonist, though more specifically their will to defy destiny/fate/inevitable death. As a bonus, have a listen to "Poem for Everyone's Souls", which is the Velvet Room theme; a location where the main character (you) visits in your dreams, and helps you unlock your hidden strength and power, and reveal to you the ability to make intangible connections with others, and turn those connections into your strength. This one is primarily piano and vocal (operatic), and it contrasts yet blends so nicely into the theme of the final fight where "Battle of Everyone's Souls" plays.
Some pinball games just go hard with the OSTs. Just being pinball reminded me of Extreme Pinball and the table - Medieval Knights which has a cool song. Rock Fantasy from that same game too. And just generally thinking of the collection of pinball games dad would play with my sister and I when we were younger. This is a bit of a spaghetti trail haha, but when I saw this title coming in the playlist I wasn't expecting pinball
I binged your previous reactions and noticed you were a fan of Ennio Morricone. You should check out the opening theme of the first Wild Arms game for the Playstation. It's an RPG with a western feel with music heavily inspired by Morricone's work.
Here's a chip tune that I feel is very under-represented. For The Love Of (end credits) from the game M.U.S.H.A., along with the original I adore the re-arrangement by Savage Regime.
We gotta get some reactions to some Mass Effect music. I'll start with suggesting "The Illusive Man" and "Suicide Mission" From Mass Effect 2 and "Leaving Earth" from Mass Effect 3. There are many more I want to list. This series of games has so many killer tracks from the whole trilogy, but I think those would be a great start. Keep up the good work, really enjoy your videos.
Just a recommendation if not recommended “Splatterhouse cross of fear” I think that’s the name I know it’s the stage 4 boss theme though. The arcade version- or pc-engine version.
I mentioned in the Discord that people are probably vastly more aware of the Genesis version than this one! While I (obviously) prefer the TG-16 version, it's worth a listen for sure! It's like quintessentially Genesis sound-chippy.
The whole OST for the Genesis version is great, the bonus stages are really nice. I've never played the TG-16 version though but listened to it many times.
I was wondering if you could react to So Say We All: Battlestar Galactica Live - "All Along the Watchtower" (feat. Katee Sackhoff), as it's a pretty awesome set of music?
I think that Sega Mega Drive's version is much better because it has more sound chanel's and the Yamaha chip had better sound quality. please recat to the Sega Mega Drive's version. i would like to see your opinion about that one. thank you.
I know you don't take requests like this but I seen that you listened to the KI (Killer Instinct) music but never looked up Spinal's theme. you should def look at that one as well as see this history about it.
I actually do now if you watch my latest announcement video. I'll be taking weekly requests my patrons can vote for from the comment section. You never know!
Day 8 of requesting Jesse to react to “Heaven Pierce Her: Order” from Ultrakill ( hopefully this comment comes through without any problems on my mobile phone)
Naxat: "It's a satanic themed pinball game, think you can compose something for it?"
Toshiaki Sakoda: "Check this out..."
lmao fr
you easily can tell this could be made in a melodic metal genre
Oh HELL YES TurboGrafix! Grew up with this system and love it to this day...used to play this for hours with my mom!

Bit music is so amazing on its own, and I love finding such hidden gems through what you're doing here now :D
So glad you heard the best tg16 version. Definitely the best vgm version of this track
I'd argue the Sega Genesis version is better.
If you wanna hear an absolute banger from the same era, you should hear Thunder Force 4 - Metal Squad, and its remade rendition that includes the game's intro; Lightning Strikes Again.
Thunder Force III is the best TF OST of all ! :p
Thunder Force IV had the best soundtrack

I've already recommended one of the greatest Amiga games. Namely the intro of Turrican 2, "The Final Fight".
@@IceRuler Good pick! I am a Tim Follin simp so I was gonna pick some stuff from his collection once I find something...probably out of LED Storm, or Bionic Commando.
thanks I never discovered this without your channel
Huh... and here I thought I already knew all the old Pinballs like Pinball Dreams and Pinball Fantasies and Psycho
First pinball game I've played for hours the first time I've tried it. The soundtrack makes it 666 times more addictive.
I'd like to share my appreciation to Torenhire for requesting oldschool stuff when I was too cowardly to. :D Great song. And kudos to you Jesse for being able to appreciate it, as we knew you would.
Devil Crash Arranged CD is Very Rare and amazing Dark soundtrack ever!
ALL Tracks is perfect and creative ost!
What a banger, didn't expect that at all! It's a pinball game what the hell! Hahahah

Games developed by Compile often had really good music, but usually in the form of much shorter loops than this. I'd never heard of this one!

I would love to see you react to Oscurità di Xehanort from Kingdom Hearts 3.
You know what. I'd love to hear your thoughts to Hunt: Showdown music.
Specifically Rise Up Dead Man, Bullet's Lullaby and Rabbit in the mine.

Awesome game! Please give the Genesis version a try too.

If you have a chance I'd love to see your reaction to Suzaku's theme or Tsukiyomi's theme both are from FFXIV, beautiful songs
it's less of a jammer and more just an interesting sound but check out Metal Gear Solid 2's Dead Cell boss theme
Hi highly suggest you listen to the Megadrive/Genesis version, it's awesome ! :)
Still have to react to AC04-comona
recommendation: FF14 Ultima thule close in the distance
Check out Rude Breaker for PC 98
React to Final Destination from Lost Judgment is such a good song

Does anybody know more songs that are similar to this one in style?
