- Social media very easily deceive us and allow us to believe in only fairy tale relationships. As much as my husband and my relationship seem like a fairy tale, we had to overcome various not-so-fairy-tale challenges. Here is the story of our fairy tale relationship (-:
Anyone having or had a long distance relationship? How did you handle it?
Having communication with each other
Trying to manage my time in order to meet him every or every second weekend. (It's not easy, especially when exams are on)
I had to move to a different province this year. We got engaged in January and getting married in 2020. After being able to see him almost everyday to seeing him once every two or three weeks is VERY difficult! I think daily video calls have made us feel a little closer to eachother ! And I agree with you, communication is definitely key in a long distance! It had to be like this for this year, but it will all be worth the wait when this year is over.

I am stuck in a kaia in Philippines already 130 days but I met a girl literally days before lockdown and we got lockdown together here in this small hut, hard but u get to know someone like that...so now we make live streams togetehr every day, still locked down hahaha

thank you for sharing your journey! i'm just curious: why did you both decide to keep it a secret? was it so that you wouldn't be distracted during preparations and during your reign, or to avoid people asking about your personal life in interviews? if i recall, any relationship is alright unless you're married for pageants. thank you :)
