@@Moonlakes you can. You can make a hot key for the two spells and it will alternate then; and you can make a conditional check before the rotation for the spell proc.

i think is more fun when the class is easy af and you can focus on the boss mechanics and other stuff other than precise gcd's

We've had some complicated rotation over the years, this patch is a nice break.

This didn’t age well. Now we have cancel auras and other ridiculous dependencies.
You just cast starfire and proceeds casting wrath, ok.
I think people struggle with maintaining 3 dots, eclipse, and spamming starfall on cooldown.
I know people that struggle with wrath boomkin rotation.

PvP moonkin is about the same. Spam moonfire and starsruge
No 2 piece to react to. No planning 4 piece to get 3 stacks of starlord asap. No stellar flare maintenance. Feelsbad
returning player everything is complicated tbh I feel like my hands are stuck on wasd 123456 feel too dang old to move my hand and be able to move my character around lol trying to get my mouse hand to memorize the button on the mouse and keep my eye on the screen :D

Dragonflight: Dots+Starfall+Starfire = Seems legit
except if you look at the rotation being done below it does not match what she is saying in the video, some wrath is being cast among other things.
What about DoT management? When do you use moonfire and sunfire exactly?

@@yohanvist in AoE you take a talent that whenever you starfall it extends moonfire/sunfire on all targets it's on by 4 seconds. . . and you're casting enough starfalls to basically keep it up indefiantely.
Always apply and then refresh when it only has a few seconds left as long as the mob will live 6+ seconds. I like to moonfire as the tank gathers everything since you don't wanna pull threat anyways, and then sunfire when they're all stacked up so it's only 1 global.

in isolation (not considering astral power generation, or starting eclipse ect).
sunfire/moonfire are close to 5-6 times (or more) the damage on wrath/starfire. So even if it's only going to last for a few seconds it can easily end up more damage.
keep them up at all times, and pandemic them (refresh sub 30%) when they get low.
Just keep your dots up, stay in lunar eclipse and cast starfire. Spend your astral power on starfall
Tbh moonkin is bad right now. Ive got 440 gear and im so bad in actual raid. Too low dps so im trying to find some advices or gaids thinking that im doing smth wrong but seems like spec is bad. In shadowlands it was much better for me 😢
Throw some starsurge for the crit increase too

tbh all specs are almost the same even arcane mage which people complain about being too hard once u get the hang if it it's only arcane blast and arcane missile

it is exactly the same rotation for ST. Wrath is not worth casting in ZT :(

Rotation isn’t opener, put the dots up and in air they’re forever extended by star fall. The only thing she missed was wrath wrath before this lol
Ok, but what about single target? I get solar eclipse pump wraith and starsurge and my dam is sheet
I swear it feels like dumping astral power into Star falls trying to get it 3-4stacked while spamming wraith with dots up feels like it's doing more than astral bumping into starsurge but I'm only 400ilvl and have just got back on druid for first time since shadow lands so chances are I'm wrong 😂😂
@@dendedudeonkick Honestly man, it's gear. Get your mast up to like 35% haste to like 25%. You're gonna pump single target. We'll always burst more in AOE, but single does ok. I've learned a lot in the last 2 weeks. I'm 430 now. Doing work
ya and when ppl complain about something, Blizz instead of making it more reasonable they made it a wet noodle version of arcane mage and effin sealed it. now I dont understand the reason for Wrath

their kick is on a 1 minute CD :(. . . but it's an AoE kick. and an AoE knockback + AoE Stun. and they can deal with all the affixes.

It's really not. If you got a character boost to lvl 60 yeah you'd be confused but lvl 1-70 you learn how to play your class/spec as you level up
Some classes are pretty stupid with their cooldowns and prerequisites to do max dps.

@Bound but why not do max dps? Makes content easier and faster, and if you're doing content that you don't need to do a proper rotation (max dps) then why play? Haha. Not hating just curious. I guess if you're chilling with friends it's whatever, but I figured most people would want to do the hardest content they can.
Not to mention, the difference between doing your best damage and lowest damage isn't that big of a gap if you understand your equipment, skills and talents EXCEPT on a few specs that are high skill gaps.

I mean aoe was never bad I think ST rotation being awful is more of a problem. So damn boring. Your CDs dont even feel like you’re doing anything. Meanwhile on lock I know im pumping all these shards into a huge pitlord/tyrant window, every button I press and proc I get goes into how big this bad boy is gonna be and then you let him rip and climb climb climb. Meanwhile Druid just feels like ele sham in sepulcher. Snooze fest in ST
