Man thank you I had 25 gallons of roof coating ready to sprayed with everything marked off and my machine started acting up releasing prime when at high pressure randomly. With your video I was able to at the site tear the valve out and I found a chunk of some kind of crap wedged in the check ball on the back of the valve with out your video I wouldve had no clue. Btw I was able to finish spraying all 25 gallons before quiting time also. Great day great video thank you!
Happy to hear it man! Being down on a job site is the worst.
Good video, but you put the handle on backwards.
Your "pin puller" is called a punch....
Great tutorial. Clear and easily understandable. Great Job. The camera and editing was perfect. Great Job
Why did you replace the valve when only the plastic toggle was broken?
This was warranty work. So the entire thing was replaced per Graco.
Great video!
I have a S100 field Lazer but it's basically same set up with prime valve and lever. The last time I
tried to spray I have paint coming out of the prime valve and lever area. I took valve off and tightened it but it still sprays out. Does that mean valve is shot? Thanks. Great video.
if it's leaking paint I would definitely replace it. it could also be because your switching to prime mode with too much pressure in the line. alway make sure that the line pressure is relieved before switching into prime.
Ask for a "pin puller" at your local tool supplier and the only thing you're likely to get is a blank stare. What you are using is a "nail set".
I previous person mentioned that it's called a punch tool, a nail set is a slightly different tool but would probably work also.

If a viewer of this video asked for a "punch tool" they may get handed a _sharp pointed_ center punch that, when driven in, could very well make that hollow roll pin even more difficult to push through.
It's a nail set.
really good vd show u just how to do it, will ltry on my 210es
Right when the pump gets fully pressurized I hear a hiss or two and it leaks a little out of the dump valve tube and stops. Been getting slowly worse so I did this and it still does the same exact thing. Any advice?
My new valve didn’t come with sealant can I just use Teflon tape?
That should work, what's important is that you make a good seal.
Damn, why have I been paying $125 to have the guy at the paint store do this? Never again!
Omg I saw that to he put the handle backwards ...lol ..
I did, but it will still work :)
You installed the valve handle incorrectly. But it's been almost 2 years since you posted this so I guess it just doesn't matter.
While the handle is upside down, you are correct that doesn't really matter as the valve is opening and closing as designed.

Well OK, then disregard - you're the pro here.
Dear did you put there silicone?
The silicone goes on the threads of the prime valve.
185lbs of torque?
Sure!
185 Inch pounds
@@Igor-q3f yep! 15 ft-lbs aka snug
