Perhaps the very best graphics I have EVER seen in a RUclips video so kudos for that. In terms of the motorcycles, the new Hayabusa has significant electronic aids that make the bike accessible to a range of riders who likely could/would not safely be able to extract its potential performance without them. Conversely, The Kawasaki is a far older design, BUT it works. I personally have ridden over 50k miles including two cross country trips on the two ZX14's I have owned and with proper suspension set up and good tires, no NEED for electronic aids. The 14R is more comfortable and has all the handling abilities it needs that can be exploited on public roads with a substantial cost difference. Suzuki IS a more modern design with an abundance of features I personally would never need on a "street" bike (save the cruise control), but in today's rider pool, probably very useful to have all the rider aids the Suzuki has. Having ridden the ZX14R in every weather condition (including icy roads in the mountains of Arizona) except..snow, extensively on mountain roads in the western US, back roads throughout the country, the ZX14R is just extremely well sorted despite its aging design. Small example, the extremely tall 1st gear turns out to be..ideal on diabolical mountain roads...descending a steep canyon/pass. You realize..wait a minute, someone..tested this exact situation with the ZX14R because the bike sheds 50 lbs pounds "feel" and you "ride" in 1st gear. I AM biased in favor of Kawasaki because I have the seat time in so many conditions versus how much I have ridden Hayabusa's. My Hayabusa exposure always left wanting way better brakes, the ZX14R's riding position and..smoothness (vibration) in comparison. I definitely acknowledge that for many riders, the electronic aids would be a difference maker if the acquisition cost difference isn't a factor in purchase decision. I admit to outright jealousy in no longer having the race version of Akrapovic exhaust available for my beloved ZX14R and easily available for the new Hayabusa. I will make DO with Yoshimura. Both great bikes👍.
I bought the 22 Busa. Discovered the quick shifter formthe first-time. Now I can't live without one! Gladly trade in a small fraction of power and speed I'll never use anyway for all the tech.
I chose the zx14 2022! Been with kawasaki for awhile and I actually saved $5k since I got the zx14 for $13,999! I loved the Busa after test riding it and couldn't get it out of my head but after reading reviews and watching video of the zx14r I made my choice.

The zzr14 is very dated in a lot of ways. If all you want is the engine I get it but you need to ride both. It has basically no modern electronics at all on it. It’s in dire need of an update.
The removable cylinders on the busa is amazing. Not sure if the z does or not but I have seen any z motor swaps and minimal turbo z’s for that matter and less 500+ hp zx14’s as well. I love my gen 3 and once we get some more parts for it the hp difference will be non existent.

ZX14R for me. A singular design for my eyes.
Thank you. Awesome video.
I bought my ZX14R brand new for under $11k. The hayabusa is twice as much. For whatever reason, dealers have trouble selling 14’s.
Wirklich sehr gutes Video.👍👍👍👍👍
Excellent video with incredible graphics.
Both stunning bikes. I think the Hayabusa looks slightly better, but that's just personal preference.
For some reason I would go for the ZZR, definitely next bike after my VFR!
Yes, the busa looks better.
The zzr14 is very dated in a lot of ways. If all you want is the engine I get it but you need to ride both. It has basically no modern electronics at all on it. It’s in dire need of an update.
@@theonlyredspecialit’ll still stomp all over the latest and greatest busa without the electronics.
The removable cylinders on the busa is amazing. Not sure if the z does or not but I have seen any z motor swaps and minimal turbo z’s for that matter and less 500+ hp zx14’s as well. I love my gen 3 and once we get some more parts for it the hp difference will be non existent.
14s suck for modification and the engines aren't as flexible as the busa 1300 is like a honda engine 14s are on edge factory of disaster
Hayabusa is 1 , ZX 14 R is 2
Busa the best nr 1 suzy 🏍🍺🍺🍺
Busa for life. Thing is beautiful.
very good quality video!!! thanks!!!
Why did they compare the regular zx14r to a fully loaded bussa I have a zx14r abs se and it has everything and more then the bussa I was kinda mad they did that
That's because they know kawasaki makes a better and the fastest bike's on earth 🌎.. I am a kawasaki guy all day I do not like suzuki at all or Yamaha for sport bikes kawasaki then honda cbr. Hands down kawasaki gang 4 life.
Always Kawasaki.. Also, Ninja bodylines are more sharper and more characteristic than Busa organic lines..
I absolutely love this channel. Thank you. If it was my money it would be the Suzuki. I purchased the original one brand new and still smile today with how much I loved it. The updated electronics package and still keeping the original concept alive and Euro5 friendly is just delicious icing an what was always a great cake. 👍😎🇦🇺
U r cute
Both bikes are phenomenally awesome. I have rode both, but I own a BUSA.
ME TOO!🤩
I HAVE BOTH BUT I LIKE SUZUKI HAYABUSA
I have selected my ZX 14 R two years back. Superb bike...
Hayabusa 🔥🔥🔥
busa for me !
What I take out of this video is, the ZX14R wins hands down😁
Tengo una hayabusa 2000 y es la mejor compra que he tenido.
Busa is the best
It's great and reliability is good too
And compared to zx14 busa is very light
Both are beautiful bikes, but I go with the ZX14R
Zx14r ✅
Can I get the Busa with the zx-14 head lights? I hate the Cyclops look, other than that I’d go with the Busa.
I like the look of lights on both, but Kawas lights illuminate better
SUZUKIIIIII💪😃
Me encanta este canal 👍. Si tuviera el dinero iría sin dudar por la Suzuki Hayabusa ✌️🏍️🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
Was this a 2022 model zx14?
Zx14r for me
Don’t forget maintenance. ZX oil changes are far easier
I’d go with the Hayabusa because they can handle more power with out blowing them up. If your drag racing lol
Awesome Video
Zx14 the best 👌 👍 😍
Never!!!
@@luizdesousamarques3513 all day long! Owned both. ZX is the better bike for me.
Hayabusa Forever
Forever in my mirror 😂
BUSA
Hentai forever
Zx14r forever
@safarinews haha that was funny
I have the only solution to the problem. Buy both bikes.
Wonderfull video ! Thank You. My hearth goes to the ...... Second Gen. Hayabusa , 3rd. Too much Electronic that scary me. If have to chose from both will go with ZX14R is bulky but is comfortable Friend of my has one and I ride that bike. But I beat him with my First Gen. Busa!😄 The 3rd. Busa has ugly MFG exhaust plus cathalytic convertor I am far away from the envyormentalist. 😅
nothing to be scared- allows to tune the bike for various moods/ alertness levels/ weather conditions and keeps you between ditches when things go wrong. Really immensely better than Gen 2
I love my zx14 and out of all that tech the only thing I would want is a quick shifter and perhaps cruise control
*edit* one more thing ... a better seat
Quickshifters are no good on a ZX14R/ZZR1400.
@@MikeTheBike58 if it was from the factory it would be don't u think why would they be good on a H2 or Busa but not on the 14?
@@MikeTheBike58 I love the QS on my 22 busa. Did not expect to love it as much as I do, spoils you
@@MrSpeedFrk About the seat. One word: Corbin. Have one on each of my bikes: Harley, Busa, Kawi and a Beemer. Changes the whole bike. I also change bar height, grips, pegs etc...mods that make them into cruisers that still bite with a twist.
for the quality and power of the Suzuki engine, there is no doubt about it. Suzuki is indeed top and extraordinarily fast from birth.
but zx14 has more power ,lots more .
