Thanks for watching my video. When I was building my cabin, I change it every three months. For the last couple years I only changed once a year. You can see from the bubble that the oil color is turned and that should tell you when to change too.
@@HypergaugeDIYthanks for the video,I just took mine apart it's identical to your's also husky.mine was leaking oil from the seal inside motor, it's easy to do but the hardest part is taking the crankshaft off 😢 but I managed to take it off using my air chisel giving it some light taps then all force and it pops off I already put everything back together just came looking for videos of how much oil it takes since the lens on mine doesn't look clear anymore even after cleaning real good so I just wanted to get an idea of how many ounces it takes. 👍
Thank you very much for your video: it was very helpful

How often do you need to do this. Run time
Thanks for watching my video. When I was building my cabin, I change it every three months. For the last couple years I only changed once a year. You can see from the bubble that the oil color is turned and that should tell you when to change too.
the manual says: 100 hours of use.
What oil is it
Thanks for watching my video. I recently changed to use this air compressor oil, so far so good amzn.to/2C2OCj6
Did you leave it running during the oil change process?
No. you need to power down the unit before you release the oil. Test run and check for leak after the oil is changed.
Also, good practice to unplug the unit when draining & changing the oil so it doesn't start up on accident and damage the compressor.
Good video, poor sound mix, can barely hear half of the instructions
Thanks for watching and for the feedback! I will try to improve the sound mix in future videos.
You can use the closed caption like I did since I'm hard at hearing .
