    @1:08 where did u get that oil drain extension? It prevents the oil for spilling under the tank, awesome… Can you please provide where and the size .

      The compressor came that way. It's a Puma from Northern Tool. Perhaps they or another compressor distributor would have a similar part. Thanks for watching and leaving a question!

    Is it normal for the compressor motor and piping to get very hot in less than two air refills? 😮

    • @metalwooddesign
      @metalwooddesign 3 года назад +1

      Yes, if you mean the pipe coming out of the compressor itself, that can get very hot. Too hot to touch.

    How many much should I change my 10hp air compressor?

    • @midwestsynthetic
      @midwestsynthetic  3 года назад

      The owners manual is a good place to start for sump size, viscosity, change intervals, etc. The two compressors in the video use less than a quart combined, so changing them every couple years is very economical. Of course, 10HP would be a much larger unit. For service life, AMSOIL recommends this product up to 8000 hours. I change mine every two years. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and leaving a question!!

    I have an older 80 gallon. Not sure what oil to use

      Check for any info on a data plate or model info for a Google search. 30wt is very common but it's always best to use the manufacturers viscosity recommendations. Thanks watching and leaving a comment.
