A Night in Bratislava, Europe's Most Beautiful and Underrated City

  • Bratislava is the most underrated city when it comes to tourism in Europe and is capital of Slovakia. While visiting Europe if you want a break from the crowds of the more popular cities, put Bratislava on your list. Even in peak Europe Tourism season i.e. July-August, its streets feel less crowded and you will never wait in line for anything. Bratislava is the European city where you will get a quieter experience and Bratislava is well worth the visit.
    One can visit the entire city with "Bratislava Card" with which entry to all museums is free along with unlimited public transportation. Bratislava Card is recommended only if you plan to stay in city for 2-3 days and plan to visit all Tourist attractions.
    It’s possible to visit the main attractions of the city in one day. You can have a day trip to Bratislava from Vienna, Austria. However, an entire day and night is highly recommended in Bratislava as it has the Best Nightlife experience. Also, you can explore the city well. With a full day in Bratislava, you can visit its top attractions and take a pause at its best restaurants for lunch and dinner.
    The Blue Church which is also known as "The Church of St. Elizabeth" is a fanciful and Art Noveau Church completed in 1913. It is at around 10 minutes walk from the Old Town which is also a kind of center of the city.
    The UFO Tower is located on southern bank of River Danube. The Tower is famous for its panaromic views of the city. The UFO Tower's elevator is small and creaky and hot in the summer season. You better skip it, if you are claustrophobic. The view over the Old Town is awesome and well worth the ride of elevator. There is also a restaurant and bar at the top of the tower.
    The Old Town is small and compact and one can walk through it in 20 minutes but several hours can be spent exploring things of interest.
    Man at work/Cumil is the most popular statue with the longest line of people waiting to take their selfies located on the corner of Panska and Rybarska brana.
    The Old Town Hall is one of the oldest buildings in Bratislava. It was built in 1370, this civic hall was also used as a prison and a mint. Around the Old Town Hall is the pink Primatial Palace. This palace is the office of Bratislava’s mayor but you can also take a guided tour.
    With its charming city center, picturesque streets, and many other interesting things to do, Bratislava is an underrated city to visit in Europe.
