I seen in some states they are letting therapy dogs into prisons. I think that is great
keisha renee the prison I work at doesn’t have therapy dog but have a housing unit of dogs from the shelter that the offenders get ready for homes and it helps the offender outside and inside that house so much! And it helps with staff after an even happens
I had to stay at a prison for my job and they had therapy dogs. I think it’s a good thing. It helps them as long as they are treating the dogs with respect.

Yes they’re doing it here in California, one of my colleagues is training a dog for prison therapy! She’s a super sweet lil 8 week old lab named Tawny, she instantly makes anyone she sees smile, it’s so fulfilling to know she will be making people happy!! It’s truly so therapeutic, and so wonderful, and I think my coworker is such an amazing woman for having the strength to raise these dogs to be loving, house trained and just sociable, and then she’s got the task of letting them go, which breaks her heart every time but she also says she gets so much fulfillment from it. Truly such an amazing idea from whomever got this approved.

Such a great video, but holy crap it blows my mind that people don’t understand that women (in prison or not) DESERVE to have access to period products, and enough of those products to comfortably get through a period.

I remember seeing commercials by a feminine products company talking about woman/girls in poverty around the world having the right to hygiene products - I guess American women don't count???? Wrong. So Wrong.

Here in the UK you can help your self to as many tampons and pads you want and toothpaste tooth brushes combs brushes soap shampoo it's all free !

I felt the same way about my Dad growing up. Whenever he was in prison, at least my family knew he was "safe". Thankfully he's been sober for the last 4 years. He's actually addicted to going to AA meetings (3-4 a day)! That addictive personality I guess never goes away.
watching the part where you mentioned addicts coming in and leaving clean gives me a lot of hope. my cousin is about to get out sometime around christmas for the longest sentence she has served yet (around 4 years) and she was able to take an addiction program and now she talks to and advocates for the addicts that come in:) i hope this is her final time and prison and that she has truly learned how to cope and stay clean.

Two pads a day?! I would die! I’d go through those 2 pads in 3 hours 😳 there’s no way! I guess my flow is absolutely ridiculous. That’s insane!!!!
Oh gosh me too. I ended up having to have endometrial ablation because I was becoming so anemic. It was the happiest day if my life. I remember thinking oh yeah! I won't have to buy pads or tampons.....my daughter had her first period the following month lol.

I always click immediately when I see your video in my feed, love your content, you make me smile, I also struggle to accept love from others, growing up wasn’t easy but God has blessed me with a loving husband who understands me like no other, and most of all having God in my life. Good morning ☀️ I’m married to a military veteran who is now law enforcement and I agree that there are some officers who give a bad name. I just wish everyone would realize there are bad apples in every profession/setting/group etc. and not just judge my husband based on one bad apple. Thank you for taking the time to point out that not all officers are bad. ❤️❤️❤️
@Ashley Bounds You are so Right. There’s some really Good Police Officers. My son was one for seven years. Then his girlfriend(an RN) told him that he needed to go back to college and pick a different career, if he was going to marry her. He’s an emergency NR now. I’m happy that he switched.

Ashley Bounds the thing is it’s usually not just ONE bad apple tho i’m that profession, unfortunately there’s a lot of bad ones and it out weighs the good ones. It’s unfortunate all around, for the good ones and for the ppl that have to deal with the crappy ones. Thankfully there are good ones out there and i also don’t think you should be shitty to a officer right off the bat bc you feel some type of way about them or think that they’re all bad. Show them the respect they deserve until they show you otherwise
the thing is, a bad apple at wal mart does not equate to an officer murdering an unarmed person. that's a bad comparison that people try to use. police officers have a lot of power and should be held to a higher standard than other professions. and they repeatedly refuse to punish or even acknowledge their bad apples. you steal from wal mart, you get fired. you shoot somebody with no justification as an officer you get paid leave. i understand there are good people who are officers but they're still choosing to work for a violent and corrupt institution.
@@rachelzuckett7413 somebody has to do it and if the good ones didn't work in that profession then there would be nothing but the bad apples. What sense does that make. None.
My dad was a guard at San Quientin here in California, he told me enough stories to keep me on the straight and narrow as a kid and young adult.

Kiki Contreras I know I’m not Christina but anyone slightly depressed or considering it typically bids it the outfit they make u wear with no underwear and no blankets it’s cold it’s degrading. You may have to show in court that way ur under constant watch. Much brighter of a cell so no sleep. Good luck getting aaannnnny medication cause now they don’t trust you. There’s so much but typically it’s very rare in my opinion
My fiancé is a C.O he deals with suicides a lot. He suffers from severe ptsd because things he’s seen

When you say it’s hard for you to accept love it breaks my heart and brings the momma bear out in me for the younger you. I’m not sure if that makes any since, but I just wish I could take your pain away from your childhood. My cousin is the sweetest soul I've ever met. He worked as a CO at a maximum security prison on the mental health floor. It changed him as a person. He is still a sweetheart, but he still has PTSD and night terrors years later after leaving that job.

Part 2. You are so, so worthy of love.
When you watch a person’s videos for a certain period of time, I think you begin to get a sense, to a certain degree, of the kind of person they are. I’ve watched you for quite some time now, and here’s what I see:
I see first of all a woman who is very beautiful, and takes pride in her appearance. You always look so nice, and I always feel like I need to go do something to my hair or makeup when I watch one of your videos!! 🤣🤣 Seriously girl, you really are gorgeous! The next thing I’ve noticed, which is the most important, in my opinion, is true kindness and compassion in you for other people. I get the sense that when someone is your friend or a family member, that your love and loyalties run deep. You encourage kindness and respect in others, and not to be mean or hateful; that comes from a true caring for others. So, when I heard you say on this video that you have a hard time accepting love and caring from other people because you don’t feel worthy or whatever, it really breaks my heart, because I see a person here that absolutely deserves love and respect. What we give out, we (hopefully) get back in this world. I hope that’s something you can learn to let go of because you ARE deserving! Thank you for another interesting video; they are always so informative!! Happy new year to you and your family 🎉🥂

Christina, I know exactly how you feel when it comes to accepting love, or accepting gifts or compliments. I was the ugly girl who sat alone at lunch in school ( decades ago) so I try my best to help others. I am so uncomfortable accepting compliments. I have to say Christina, You Are Loved by Countless People!!! Your stories aren’t just good or entertaining but the love you share with all of us is an incredible feeling. I totally agree about jobs in the food industry the most humbling experience for me was the year i spent washing dishes at a bar/restaurant than at a dennys.
Every single video you make about yourself / life is so much like mine and I think/ feel so much like you do . It’s truly incredible, it’s like we are the same person. I never want to speak publicly about my life but recently I have felt the need to also make video and speak out about my life finally but have yet to fully commit .

It broke my heart to hear you say the hardest thing to get used to when being released was accepting love. You are such a strong, kind, smart, and hilarious woman. You deserve love. It’s horrid to hear about your childhood (I’ve watched a lot of your videos 😜) and how you’re used to cruelty. Those people had a problem with themselves. We have different stories, but the same in a few ways. My father has been in prison for most of my life, and I agree, I feel better when he's in there. At least I won't get a call that they scraped my frozen, dead father from the sidewalk somewhere. 3 hots and a cot is the best place for him. And as far as accepting the love, I feel you 100%. I don't trust when people love me, because love has always been a tool to fool me and hurt me. I'm so glad I found your channel, and thank you so much for what you do!
