That last few minutes of finishing touches was astonishing! Then the musical steppers sounded so good, it brought a tear to my eye. Awesome build, man! Awesome.
It literally looks like a game asset in real life 🤯 Also, I'm a musician and I've heard plenty of stepper motor music before, and I didn't think the cave would do a whole lot for it. But boy when it started playing... Literal chills 😳 Love it!!!!!!

yooooo, from a Halo fan/robotics engineer in training, that Halo 2 animation, the musical easter egg, and the overall badass mechanical design and attention to detail has hit every note in my heart man.
The attention to detail on this thing is absolutely insane. Remaking the model alone to this extent sounds crazy to me, but actually making this thing functional and going above and beyond that even for a really creative easter egg, is something deservant of a medal. Wish there was something like a passion award out there for projects like this.

Hearing the Halo Theme from inside that cave opened up a floodgate of memories of my friends and I, booting up our Xbox 360s and playing Halo 3 for hours on a Friday night. This thing looks amazing. I can’t begin to imagine all of the time and energy spent on this. Not to mention the serious urge to find a way to play Halo again, any of them.
This is absolutely gorgeous! Really inspires me to want to work on my fully realized armor build I would love to do but have no idea where I would even start... And that stepper tune at the end was amazing...what a truly astonishing build!
That version of the halo theme is now my #2 all time favorite next to the original. Absolutely epic. It's so alien yet instantly unmistakably recognizable.

This... this brought a tear to my eye, man. Hearing the Halo theme coming out of that thing, I remembered the first time I ever sat in front of my friend's XBOX, and the wonder I felt when I heard that song and saw the opening cinematic, and thought "wow, this is like MAGIC, this isn't my SNES anymore" Childhood memories run DEEP, and this is the kind of build that takes people back to them, and reminds them of the wonder and sense of amazement that they felt as kids.
I just had 5 waves of goosebumps cover my body from head to toe (Yes I actually counted) when the music started playing from the rocket at the end. THAT WAS SO SICK! KEEP KICKING ASS ON THIS PROJECT MAN!
