Easy Install Truck Liftgate!

My review and installation guide of a 12 volt pickup truck hitch lift/lift gate. The hitch lift has a 550 lbs. capacity. It was once sold out harbor freight but has been discontinued, I was able to find one in the used market. However, different vendors make the same lift including Vest High Rise Lift Trucks product HL-55 which is linked below.

I can load them without a lift but this would be great for something much bigger.

My flatbed is 4' 4" high will it reach?would be great for my generator and concrete saw and snowblower. Was looking at a little crane but then i have to weld it to my rusted out bed.

Wouldn't be to hard to build one if you had a welder and metal.

Yes I thought about it but between the cost of the winch, metal sheets, and square tubing (I already have a welder) it wouldn't have been worth it (for what I paid for the whole thing). But definitely better then buying a new one for $1500!

Why the heck don’t they make it so that it plugs into your trailer socket? Ridiculous.

Because of the amps needed for the motor. The wires going to your trailer pin is only rated for lights so you would not get enough power delivery
