Who would have guessed that all those episodes ago when your were building your shop, that this is the type of quality products you would be fabricating? Brilliant work!
I did. Just think what could be done if he had full access to a large industrial machine shop and the free run of a giant scrapyard. Many of the inventors of 19th century farm machinery and technological innovation migrated to the U.S.A from that region. They turned vast prairie lands into mega grain farms.
Truth, and they will buy a crane from local store with fancy colours and shining covers than crane will brake on half trying to lift 100kg than they will see on inner side of fancy cover text Made in China. They will start appreciate :) home made staff.
Ingenious. I was a little worried that it looked like a winch rather than a hoist (braked v unbraked/gearing only), but it seemed to hold the load without problem. All pickups should have these!
It is not just that you are a GREAT fabricator, but moreso that you are a natural born engineer. Do you do any drawings or CAD models? Because you seem to have an overall picture of the finished product imagined before you start; on this particular one, somehow you envisioned the jack tower fitting behind the cab of the truck and also thought about the support foot function and storage beforehand. It is just so magical to watch you build a project with supreme practicality. Thank you, a proud subscriber.
What does a mythical deity have to do with his skills? If you claim that these were given to him by this deity then by rights you also should have that skill set. Any way Polish ingenuity at it's best. Thank you for the idea.
I'm proud to be a 2nd generation Polish-American immigrant. This is the kind of thing we do because if we don't do it for ourselves, it won't get done [correctly].
A PROFESSIONAL! all stages are performed professionally and high-tech! It's a pleasure to watch! All operations at the workplace are modern and efficient!!! With such a number of machines and equipment, the production of AEROLINERS and SPACECRAFT is possible!!!! This is a MINI-factory and not an individual workshop! I note the violation of safety regulations at work - a kind of dramatic story with bare hands in the absence of elementary PPE!
Absolutely love the Engnerding you have put into this! Since you have already got the winch. On it a pivot piece with a loop Eye could replace the Jack and eliminate the extra steps to get it prepared for working. Weld a hollow tube on the front side of the down leg support put a plunger in it and a slot to pass a lever into it with 2 clevis pins and a shackle to connect it to the winch pull up the lever the pivot reverses the action and pushes down lifting the foot up and then you can set your stability leg beneath it. You could even index it by several gates, and pin and once up simply twist it into the best level for it to hold there. When done simply remove the clevis pin and slide it up to height for storage ! Great Work!

I have built many a crane in my time for my pick up trucks it can take some doing and bit of creative imagination never have I seen something so elaborate as this build I have tried to build a folding crane using old wheel bearings and boz tubbing but this is nice 👍 I no longer have anything I made but I am sure lealouse of all your toys I had nothing like that only hand tools and a cheap Chinese stick welder to go about it the good news is it was purposeful till some one totaled my truck with my best work ever that story is I got what paid for the truck because of my creation yep I got paid it's a first now how I see yours I may be tempted to do another build thank you for sharing this idea a very nice build Thank you for sharing
You're soo young and sooo smart. Have many wonderful tools in your shop. God bless you and your work. Wish you and your country all the best. Greetings from Slovenia.
The best tools are homemade, that's the truth! No company would ever build something like that for an old truck model, and if custom made would costs more than the truck itself 🤣 but you made it in a fairly simple way (even if he use expensive tools you can actually make the same thing with cheaper tools, but in a longer and difficult way. Just check his earlier videos to see I'm right) and in the most comfortable way to use! Great job as always!
Very nice. You've certainly come along way since your early videos making stuff in your old 'workshop' and an old stick welder. Well done, long may you continue.

Good idea and well done with welds and joints few things need to be customized like 10:40 right? good jobe my friend good jobe!!! keep it up and upload more of your work.
I love how easily you work with steel. My tools are not as rigid, so I do most of my work in aluminum. I envy you your ability to make such strong parts so easily.
Hello from California! I'm sure you're aware, but watch when you put a load in the back, then release the stabilizer jack you don't drop the load on yourself! Love the channel!
Awesome. To help load the truck, you could put a pully + locking cleat (used in sailing) on the far side of the bed to give you a line to pull the load horizontally over the bed. The locking cleat is not needed but it does make it easy to tie off/release the line one handed. A carabiner on one end of the rope, would allow you to make a quick loop around the object and back to the rope. The loop would tighten under pressure and be easy to release once it is gone.
Thats about the best one IVE ever seen made . Really purpose built to use on your truck. Fitted to not move or rattle. Setting the bar higher for the next builder to match or do better.
EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCLLENT !!!!!!! Video, work, design and SHOP. , JUST EVERYTHING !!! Makes me jealous of your work ability, SHOP, and design. GREAT JOB all around !!!!! Would be great if I could find a fabricator here in San Diego on YOUR LEVEL !!!!

The only problem with being such a great craftsman is most people don't appreciate what you have done because it looks factory.

They don’t even appreciate the true cost of the labor and skill involved.
@@christopherpandolfi1229 , so, you know my boss!!
@A M I agree. The validation of other people isn't important if a job needs to get done.
That 2013 style trap music really brings some nostalgia. It is also really enjoyable to watch you fabricate.
