Im currently watching the anime on patreon so if you want to participate in a watch along with me definitely check it out! www.patreon.com/marcomeatball
We can talk about non-context pieces all we want, but... Damn... This gave me some crazy flashbacks. What a piece. Especially the tiny little electronic giltching in there is such a crazy simple but meaningful accent on the melody that immediately sets an apocalyps (but non-scifi as it's so little and nuanced), I love that kind of stuff. Tears..
Attack on Titan has my favorite anime soundtrack of all time. Most of the time I only remember openings and endings of anime shows, but Attack on Titan changed that. Xenoblade X soundtrack goes so hard, Hiroyuki Sawano knows what's up!
I do love this OST from AOT and all the other OSTs Hiroyuki Sawano did. Not just Attack on Titan OSTs, also he did 86, Solo Leveling, Gundam Unicorn, Re:Creators, and more.
Hi Mr RUclipsr marcomeatball, not sure you would like this anime ost but I would Highly recommend you the tower of god Season 1 ost which are 'Irregular God' and 'Black March' by Kevin Penkin. He who won the best soundtrack of the year for this anime. You're gonna have a blast listening to it! Also I always loved your reaction and breakdown videos. Like ALOT! It made me understand and appreciate more when I'm listening to a music or a song. And in turns made me fell in love even more! Thank you so much! 💕💕
Hey marco! First of all , love your work and analysis. Since you are from opera background, I would love to suggest Yuki Kajiura OST since it's heavily leaning towards opera kind of music. :) Keep up the awesome work!
I remember watching this show as it was airing those years ago, and thinking about just how highly its score drove its emotional beats. After my re-watch leading up to the Final Finale (Final), I found my opinion unchanged. Truly incredible stuff.
Not sure what I can say at this point to impress upon you the sheer SPECTACLE that is this show/story. Every show has it's flaws. Attack on Titan is no exception. However, this story/show is and will continue to be a masterpiece, and as you likely already know: a HUGE part of that is Sawano's brilliant score. Seeing those moments where these pieces play and experiencing the emotional weight this story creates is a thrill I will laud over until the day I draw my last breath. I and likely many, MANY others look forward to your reaction to this show.
You have to react/listen to Eighty Six - Avid, it's also made and composed by Hiroyuki Sawano, it's an insanely beautiful piece to a very underrated anime, which is personally one of my favorites I've ever watched. Edit: Make sure to specifically listen to the Full Ending one to get the full experience and song. Love your content, keep it up Marco
There's a similarity in all of Sawano's compositions (even if I can't explain what it is) that you hear and realize “It's a Sawano song!”, but oh God, I love every one of his pieces.
i have a lot of buts with the end of shingeki no kyojin but i absolutely love the soundtrack of the anime, it's such a experience that not many works have
Winters End from the Arknights anime is 1 of 3 of the last Frostnova themes you havnt covered yet would be cool to see your opinion on it. Perish in Frost is good too
You should react and especially break down 0sk from AoT (that’s a zero, not the letter). I’ve only ever found two reactions on RUclips and one of them got taken down.

You should listen to Vogel Im Kafig!! Its the best song off the OST imo!

I’ve never been so emotionally connected to a show through music as aot. It’s such an awesome journey!
I totally recommend Grissini Project Orchestra version of AOT
Oh boy when you get to Footsteps of Doom you will have your head exploded.

One of my favorite AoT's songs.
Oh hell yeah! I also recommend Libera me from Hell, it's a soundtrack from my favorite anime Gurren Lagann. It's up your alley for sure.
Kingdom of Predators from Hunter x Hunter should be added to the react list!
I really hope Marco revisits the 1st song, especially the lyrics, after he finishes the manga. I can't say any more without spoiling.

The anime is way better than the manga
except maybe a few scenes in the ending
I really liked the manga - it was my first time with a manga and I loved it. I'm enjoying the fleshing out of the manga though.
