- On May 22nd, 2022, officers responded to an awkwardly parked pickup truck. Upon approaching it, the driver advised that she did not have a licence or an ID. The unusual behaviour exhibited by the two females raised the officer’s suspicion. Soon, the other officer found out that the driver had a warrant issued on her name. The female kept resisting, which worked against her. Soon, additional backup arrived for the officers. The other female, who had not run away, was placed under arrest. The female began playing dumb when she was approached by the sergeant. After the officers chased the suspect, the other woman got out of the truck and began roaming around. The female was charged with obstructing official business, resisting arrest and possession of controlled substances.

Definitely! There’s not enough comments commending her for her actions. People only wanna talk when people confirm their racist beliefs, they’ll talk all the trash then. It is clear she was looking around and stunned by the situation, and that she could leave. She just got out of jail and I’m positive does not want to go back! And she still chose to stay. These are actions we should all be commending and giving props to. Because she certainly did not have to stay. They didn’t even expect her to. I’m glad they let her leave with no charges for anything. Nobody is perfect.

In no small part because they’re not handed out on coupons on the back of cereal boxes, and in part because some states like CA, have introduced legislation that makes repeated frivolous lawsuits illegal in and of itself.

It’s not illegal to be in a parking spot and not suspicious in eyes of law especially if they’ve not been trespassed. They could’ve kept windows rolled up and not spoke to officer. Been there done that. Cop has to have reasonable articulable suspicion a crime is or is about to take place. A call about a car parked somewhere doesn’t meet the criteria yet people let themselves get hemmed up all the time
A complaint from the public warrants investigation and it is suspicious to see a couple crackheads sitting still outside of a known drug house.
In this case, they didn't have an ID. The driver was f@cked from the moment that cop showed up.

You can tell both of these women were, at one point in their life, attractive and the future was wide open for them. Even if they were not smart enough to become successful career women, which they may have been, they could've at least pulled a successful mate and lived a normal life. Raised some kids, house with a pool in the back yard, I'm not saying that should be everyone's goals or even that it is the definition of success. It just would've been a helluva lot better than this. The madness of life.
Broken people create broken people. The cycle just goes on and in. In a civilized country, they would be able to access therapy, rehab, etc. We could save so much money if we had universal health care. It would also make our communities safer. Don't get me wrong, they have a responsibility to do their best to obtain treatment. But I think it's criminal how expensive it is. How would someone working a minimum wage job obtain tens-of-thousands dollars in health care?
