The issue with "prosumer" audio gear, it broadcasts over the same frequencies as BT and wifi. If you're in a busy area (especially like a trade show), that signal is gonna struggle. Adding local storage helps TREMENDOUSLY in safeguarding the signal, AND you don't have to bring a standalone audio recorder for field work.
Great video! Question: What did you use to black out the front of the Tx units? I've tried gaff tape but that doesn't look as clean as whatever you did. Thanks in advance.
Ew, stinky stinky windows. Real creators have separate macbooks for each app they use. JK that's super great we can just pull stuff off these I have a pair and I love them.
The smaller the transmitter, the poorer the battery will get, and the worse the reception will be. The RODE can also use a proper lav if you need something more discrete. I kinda like having a trek communicator badge, but I've gone lav with different shirts.

Rode is such an awesome company, they keep on improving their software without forcing you to buy new hardware
No joke. This could have been an "upgrade" for a WG3.
I'll have to give these another look. I used the gen 1 Wireless Go and had a few issues.

Blank black vinyl sticker, cut to the shape of the transmitter. Nuthin fancy.
Thanks! Simple is always good!
Where did you buy that cube? One year old magician Behind the 2x2 cube?
I just bought my go2 today. Does it come with the cord to plug to my android to go live on RUclips??? If not what do I need?
Can I just buy a transmitter and use that without ever having a receiver?
I don't think they sell them directly like that? You might ask them directly about buying a replacement though?
@SomeGadgetGuy You can purchase the transmitter alone. The million dollar question is, will it work without ever having paired to a receiver?
What is your tablet windows ?

rode are to big and bulky in my opinion. Need something much smaller.
