Dang it's a shame that I recently bought a new mic system from a competing company. This rode set is exactly what I wanted, with the 32 bit float. I shoot a lot of videos on the road, like literally in the middle of busy highways, and it can be hard to get the levels right when doing "run and gun" style shooting.
The Røde Wireless GO II is still good really, my review back in 2021 Hong Kong ruclips.net/video/Gew72bm8iQk/видео.html Or if you’re looking for one that’s cheaper, but IMO not necessarily best value. See if you agree with me ruclips.net/video/CU_KF9vYk70/видео.html
It looks like the cable is not fully connected to start with because the nut was not retracted all the way back. Try screwing the nut all the way to the back of the cable connector. Connect the cable so that you know it is fully in. Then and only after the cable is connected completely, screw the nut to secure the cable. It might be a bad part too 🤣
Rode makes getting into gear easy - but once you are in, and you need some professional features, then you tend to move on from the brand. Its great it has 32 bit float - but as a owner of a set I still don't think its designed for professional use but I am glad it helped get me in the door so I can start making productions. My last two wireless go IIs had build quality issues and the new pro range is good but the transmitters are way too shiny that they tend to be hard to hide. After this, I might move on. But still, if you are a new content creator, this is a good place to start.
@@TheLokCheung I had the same problem. The screw was fitted by Rode with the narrow part facing downwards. Impossible to lock it that way. When the.narrow part looks upwards, it screws in perfectly. Rode installs it the wrong way for some reason.
Owning 3x sets of the WGII and 1x set of the DJI. I still prefer the usability of DJI. Wish they DJI would provide 32bit on their next gen of recordings!
I also find the Lav2 confusing, but I found that if I keep the gold screw tight on the lag cable and twist the box to the cable and screw, it will lock! ruclips.net/video/vMQ7HZ7WyFc/видео.html
Starting a video with an SQ A380 has gotta be one of the best intros ever 😚👌🏻😍
I’d like to admit that I planned for it but it was pure luck lol
@@TheLokCheung Don't say that .. just lie !
Brilliant start to a microphone review

Metti del nastro (scotch isolante) nero nella parte lucida e risolvi. Un pó di inventiva, eh...
Hehe, the screw is upside.down :)
No it's not. I've double check pictures from rode.com and also tried both sides
