You can't tell the difference in quality between the super expensive and the Rode mic. The extra feature buttons on the handheld are fantastic! @rode- better start sponsoring Bobby since he bought every product you make 😁😉
Thanks for watching. It’s been a solid mic and has some SOLID features. I have been really happy with it! Would love to partner with Rode. Someday, I hope!
The idea shared at the beginning of the video with the sure mic was not to say that you could connect those 2 mics. It was saying that the Rode interview pro is similar to if you combined a handheld mic and one of the rode wireless go mics.
As far as I know they are similar yet not the same feature set. They pair with different wireless receivers and to my knowledge the TX-M2 does not have internal recording. The RODE TX-M2 Handheld Wireless Microphone can only be wirelessly connected to RodeLink wireless mic receivers (Rode RX-CAM). That is how you would establish a wireless connection. They are similar
Yes you sure can. You can do it 2 ways. You can get a receiver from rode. The easiest and least expensive way to get it that I know of is in the Rode wireless me kit. You can pair the order interview pro with the receiver unit that is in this kit. www.amazon.com/Ultra-Compact-Microphone-Microphones-GainAssist-Technology/dp/B0BQLB596V/ref=asc_df_B0BQLB596V/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693338292879&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14084534822701412329&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9029763&hvtargid=pla-1965556344361&mcid=64f170d59b6d3d3fb4efdf86a7d68546&th=1 Or you can record the audio to the storage internally on the rode interview pro mic and then sync it up with your footage from your iPhone 15 in a video editor.
If I only will like to use the mic for interviewing people outside and will be using my iPhone to record the visual vs a video camera. Is there some type of way to connect it to your iPhone?
Yes you sure can. The rode interview pro works with the rode wireless mic kit receivers. So you can buy a rode wireless me, rode wireless mic 2 or the rode wireless pro kits. Then you can pair the rode interview pro with the receivers in those kits. The receivers can be plugged directly into an iPhone and you can get audio from this mic to your iPhone. The rode wireless me kit is the best value for doing this. Hope that helps let me know if you have other questions. Thanks for watching
love it. I bought 3 weeks ago to use my Osmo Pocket 3 and Insta360 x4 for a festival. However, I don't like it's the LOUD Rode logo. I had to darken it with a marker. Also I can't place a mic flag on the mic because of where the button are. I don't understand why I can't access the recorded files from my phone but only a PC. The built in battery is not a problem for me. It should last up to 7+ years my use case like my phone.
Very helpful video. Concise and the point!
Thanks for watching and for the kind words.
Super helpful video. I appreciate the effort you put into making it concise and impactful.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching and for the kind words.

Everything you do is so cool.
Dude! SAME! Thanks for watching.
I must have missed it. How do you connect it to the Sure Sm58 as you insinuated at the beginning of the video?

Does the rode tx-m2 wireless mic do the same exact options?
As far as I know they are similar yet not the same feature set.

Can you connect this to an IPhone 15? I want to record videos with my phone and use this mic

Well said! These are things I have found as well. I colored mine is as well. Glad you’re loving the mic.
