You don’t have to drill a hole in the carbon of the leovince. There is a rubber plug which you can remove to get to the bolt.
Legend has it, that when VDB was born, the original exhaust was made.

What about the arrow muffler with the stock header pipe for the 2019 KTM SMC R? Does the Tekmo header add any power or can you get away with running the stock header pipe and upgraded muffler?
Where is catalytic converter placed in the stock pipe? Do you need full system to have free flowing exhaust or is slip-on enough?

Nice test, I think the tekmo full system would be a winner but would like to hear the Akra, really need a Dyno test as well if you going to do an exhaustive test on them all lol is crashking going in to the exhaust fitting service cos I think kwikfit have a job going lmao 🤣

FMF 4.1 en Akrapovic van de 701 om te testen. Beide natuurlijk met de tekmo header, iets voor de volgende video?😉
I put a FMF Factory 4.1 Ti with carbon fiber tip on my 701. The main body of the exhaust is a anodized blue which looks great on the Husky. It sounds phenomenal and it’s uncommon which I like 🤘🏻. I did have to do a small modification to make it fit.

Yes, I had to grind off one of the mounting brackets (the one closest to the engine). Mine fit perfectly. No exhaust leaks.
My 701 is a 2017.

I keep the spark arestor in it.
That keeps the noise down.

I would love to see you test the Akrapovic ohh yeah and you could also test the Akrapović and maybe the Akra heard some very good things about it and while your on it you might just throw in the Akrapovic as well.

Cool video and holy cow how did ya get your hands on all those expensive cans? Always fun to see a 690 getting ridden hard. What is it about these big thumpers that inspires wheelie prone goon riding? Whatever it is, I love it.
Cannon length class (just past the turn signal) no DB killer anywhere in sight Yosh RS-4 on mine. It is sociable when cruising, and it sounds like the world is ending at full throttle, always with great smooth tone. It is perfect.
The 690s are tuned OK at full throttle but extremely lean to meet emissions regs at part throttle and lower RPM where they get ridden most, which may explain why it is spitting flames - this can happen (along with excessive crackling) from unburned lean fueling catching fire in the exhaust. These bikes need tuning to really run well in ordinary riding. Lots of O2 sensor eliminator dongles help with this as they richen it up some. Combine an O2 sensor delete dongle with a properly mapped Power Commander and the full Kraken is unleashed 😆

I have the LeoVince on my 701 and Akrapovic on my 690. I find the LV too loud with the DB killer out; I like the Akra with the DB killer out.

LV exhaust are not what they used to be, after they bankrupt, I had a full Ti twin system on my husky sm510r and it was mega. DVR are awesome, along with the HGS
