Del Juliana died this morning 28/08/2012, she lost her battle with cancer. We will remember you forever, and thankyou for letting us hear your fantastic voice. RIP Del
Del Juliana will hopefully have met up with Inez Foxx who passed away in September 2022. Shame that I have only just heard Del's voice which was equal to that of Ms Foxx. RIP two great voices sadly confined to record only

One thing I discovered about Johnny O'Keefe via Wikipedia was his life span was similar to Elvis Presley in that O Keefe liived from 1935-1978. Gone Too Soon sadly RIP.
Had the odd opportunity to see both. JOK at the Adelaide Hotel in 1970 and Elvis in Vegas 1977. Odd in that my seating allowed me to see both entertainers waiting to go on. Both the same, sweaty palms sort of high energy and a complete change to absolute professional once on stage. Saw Johnny blow everyone out of the water at Sunbury too, especially my idol Billy Thorpe.
I've just found this and it has made my day so much so I'm going to search out this ladies records! I hear a beautiful mix of Brenda Lee, Lulu and Wanda Jackson
Their sound and interaction is so beautiful. Genuine performance, skill and warmth. Some one mentioned that Del is in Hospital. A very unpleasant place at any age. An absolutely lovely song that I return to listen to quite often. Thank you tomokenator for bringing this to us and of course thank you Jonhnny O'Keefe and Del Juliana.

This is a fabulous clip. Del's voice is sensational - exciting and passionate. I hope to find more of her stuff. She's the perfect partner for JOK in this version of the song. Margaret McLaren was superb also, and maybe more suited to JOK's style later in his career. Great stuff!

Del had a magnificent strong singing voice, striking red hair & a vibrant personality. She released 2 singles & was a familiar solo & duo artist on TV pop shows & in live performances. At age 14, Del first performed as an acrobat on the TV show "Sydney Tonight".
