Also love the intro dialogue. Did anyone catch Mickey using "cigarette advertisement language" to describe Miss Newmar--? ("...With a richer, longer, everlasting charm." 😆😆😂😂)
Julie Newmar had a look that was ahead of her time! It was like she had travelled back to the 1960s from the 1980s. Madonna took Julie's look and made it her own.
They were gorgeous. There was one episode where Bobby Sherman was a rival actor in a play that Davy Jones was in. I almost overdosed on CUTENESS, but how lovely they were………..
Near the end, Julie was parodying that Ajax commercial I saw several times in the 1960s; It would show a knight on a white horse galloping down the street, pointing his lance at somebody in dirty clothes, and suddenly the clothes were clean , then you would hear “ STRONGER THAN DIRT!”… 😊😀
I remember that in the episode, Mike, Micky, and Davy defaulted her to Peter because she couldn't make up her mind which of them she wanted. Then she dumped Peter for a rock and roll singer!
Good music. I really love the fashion of that era. The girls in very short skirts, a line sleeveless draped dresses, tight tops, the guys in skinny tight pants, fitted large collared button down shirts in attractive earth tones and patterns, leather number jackets. Great shoes perfect for dancing. Everyone thin, healthy looking, sexy, and in love, not afraid to flirt or seduce. The only thing I dont like are the men’s hairstyles, as most guys look better with short hair. No multiple piercings or tat covered bodies or ridiculous long untrimmed beards or unkempt looking stubble.
@@ricktorres2380 a bit? She was in her mid 30s. And looked it. And they all looked about 21. They should have thought of her as an older sister. Nothing else.
@@celticjewel913it's not about how she looks. And the situation wasn't reversed. The Monkees were basically still kids. Newmar was about 34. It looked ridiculous. She was either playing a cougar or the boys were looking for a mama.
@@richardweiler6931 My point is that no one would bat an eye if it were a 34-year-old-man with girls @ 21--which is often what happens in movies and television.
MIKE'S SONG IS INCREDIBLE! WOW(!)--DID HE HAVE TALENT! I ALSO LOVE THE VERSION WHICH HE SANG HIMSELF. NEVER GET TIRED OF THIS SONG! 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎯🎯🎯🎯
Ahhh.Mikes' guitar, and Peters' lovely harpsichord! RIP Mike, Peter, and Davy

One of my favorite Monkees song penned by Mike RIP
Love Monkees!😍
My all time favorite Monkees song
B-Side of 'I'm a Believer'...
Julie's dance moves!
My absolute faaaavorite Monkees song!! From the opening riff, that drum pattern, and that keyboard solo to me captures the Monkees sound!!

I think she also was in the old Batman series
@@oldermusiclover Yup, as Catwoman!
I’ve been a huge Monkees fan sine the early 80s and never knew that was Julie Newmarket!
I always thought that Julie Newmar was beautiful! Especially when she's wearing her Catwoman suit!
I remember all the words and music even though I haven't heard the song in roughly 45 years. Music is a strange thing. 😊
The boys were all so cute!
They weren't HERMAN'S HERMITS.

Simply put, A great Monkee song🎶🎸
One of my favorite Monkees songs! The video and sound are crystal clear too.
Whatching her dance is like poetry in motion
Timeless, legends all. The greatest pop bands ever 🤗👌

Fantastic audio for a great song.
Lindo esse rock
Love this my first record ever got. B side of A Little Bit Me A Little Bit You and much better, sorry Neil Diamond.
Julie Newmar-pre-Catwoman. The Goddess herself.
I wanted to grow up and be a Monkee
Julie Newmar was one of the women who really pointed out how much I'm missing in life by being a short man.
Catwoman in a Monkees video.
She is still alive
❤
Harpsichordinghellfire!!!!!
Julie Newmar 😍
Julie Newmar
Catwoman herself in the video.
Is that a Baldwin electric harpsichord? Looks like it.

Julie Newmar looks more like their mother than a love interest, lol.
Especially Davy's cause he looks like a little boy !!

Anyone “Batman” crossover 😆😆😆
Julie towers over Davy, but she is probably taller than all of them.
Sorry, never cared for Julie Newmar.
The show was painfully unfunny but some of the music was really good.
She played them all
