This is probably one of the best closing songs to end a series. It encapsulates the joy from the victory while also outlining the pain that was required to get there. I find it bittersweet.

Ok gonna nerd it up a bit here. Yoda told Anakin "Rejoice for the ones around who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not, miss them do not". This might imply that there is an afterlife waiting for anybody, not just Jedi.
thebbeenn Everyone becomes one with the Force when death comes. Anakin could manifest himself because he was the Chosen One and Obi-Wan and Yoda had undergone special training to achieve it. Everyone who dies becomes one with the Force, so technically they were reunited in a way.

I cried for three weeks the death of drak vador but I was also crying for joy as I reviewed Anakin as he was before. I never cried so much for a character in a movie it was as if he left my family ... when I hear this music I still cry so much because his remind me of this scene. 😰🙂

Sigurd Kvernmoen it SOUNDS sad, but i think it was made that way due to the death of certain chars and/or the final scene of the films.
goodbyes are never truly funny, and even counting the new trilogy (which i actually like but thats off topic) doesnt change that... not yet anyways...
