Honestly, I think you're right. I heard the intro and I was like "WHOA THERE! That's DEFINITELY not something for beginners/people with the skill level to need a tutorial in the first place (I'm one of those people, so my dreams of learning this song were crushed, quite brutally at that.) Anyway. I'm just glad somebody felt the same way ;)
The parts from Mad World sound really good with this song, unless they were always there and I never knew. I like this song. That's what I'm trying to convey.

And for the parts that the tempo speeds up quite a bit..look closer. there are no more than 4 fingers sued at a time, simply going at a faster pace which IS humanly possible..
It's a mix with the Boulevard of Broken Dreams and the Mad World! But I'm think, if you love the Boulevard of Broken Dreams, you will love the Mad Wolrd too. So it's a good mix! :)
