So sorry to read this. It must be so hard. I do know how connecting with others outside a devastating situation helps. I'll never be out camping but his vids here are very positive. Kindest wishes to you and your husband through such a heartbreaking time. xxx
Andy I just have to tell you that I tried the French toast with apple and blue berries that you made in a video. My grandkids absolutely loved it. We will be making it often I am sure. We love watching your videos.
I’ve just recently found your channel and have been binge watching all your videos. I love the woods and outdoors, watching you is so relaxing, you make me feel like I’m right there and we are talking. Thanks for all your videos and the work you put into them. I’m subscribing. 🌻
I now absolutely have to try this dish, and I will, thank you for the idea Andy. You really should consider posting recipes for some easy out door dishes that you make in your videos, lol. Cheers mate, greetings and respect from Serbia, southeast Europe. Igor🙏🍻🥘🇷🇸❤️🇬🇧🇮🇪
Recently found your posts and thoroughly enjoying them. If you still have your older cast iron pan, it may take a little elbow grease but can be brought back to life. I look forward to your next posts.
As an Irishman living abroad I've never actually had a spice bag, however I do think it's wonderful that a dish for which we've laid claim to - and consume (from what I've heard) frequently - was actually invented at a Chinese takeaway 😂 Classic.
I’ve been binge watching and am finally up to date. Great videos, there’s something very relaxing about them. My wife is wondering why I’ve suddenly started drinking Punk IPA and Neck Oil!
OK. I've held off commenting. Found you about a week ago and having a wee binge. Love the review of Temu and Wish gear. Loved the hot tent camping. Love the chefery you share. And most of all- congrats on the filming and shots. I know it's hard and takes so much time. Thank you. All the techniques and tips are so valuable. From a solo female camper in the S US. :) thanks. Good stuff. Keep it up.
Oh, that looked so tasty Andy, my mouth was watering watching that, what a great idea eh? And did I spy 600+k subscribers? Congratulations, a testament to your hard work and dedication.
Awesome as always Andy. Oh my, that looked scrumptious 😋 "emm emm" delicious. Thank you for sharing this yummy recipe with us. You're Awesome. KEEP ADVENTURING GOD BLESS YOU
Congratulations Andy reaching 600k + subscribers cheers for another awesome video your meal looks appetising and delicious thanks for sharing amazing video 😊👍
Very excited to watch your videos and your video. Just got to my daughters house for Thanksgiving. Didn’t get the alert. My bag was in the trunk but like I said, was happy to see Simon the bloke and happy to see you Andy thank you for all your work. Happy Thanksgiving, you kick ass also Andy
Totally wonderful cooking video Andy, they always hit the spot and inspire. You, Simon, Richard Outdoors and Camping With Josh, all excellent cooking, should collaborate on a big camp, and also create either a cooking dvd or book for your channels viewers or wider audience within bushcraft community, am sure it would sell very well, I'd certainly buy it!! Looking forward to your Christmas Vlog, will you have snow in Kent, who knows lol. Take care Andy and thank you.
Great video. I've tried that mixture it's good, they have 2 or 3 different ones. I make my own now too. They are better with real potato chips like you used. Chicken should be salt and pepper chicken. Thank you for your content, I've watched many of your videos while stuck in hospital, trying to pretend I'm sitting at a campfire.
The Sunflower Chinese take away in Tempelogue , Dublin is where it started. Great stuff as usual. It’s around since about 2010, certain.y wasn’t around when I was growing up! 😂😂
Andy, took your advice and ordered the BPS Bushmate knife….actually 3 of them. One for me and the other two for my brother and nephew. Also ordered the hatchet as well. Super pleased and realized I should listen to you more often youngster😜😜
I found out about that about 7 years years ago and it's delightful but I wish it was available for carryout here in the US. I'm not big on cooking that much just for me. I rarely have much of an appetite these days. But it's nice to see you make and enjoy!
Great taste of beer, Beavertown rocks. Only a bit expensive in Germany, but you don’t have that everyday. Since I am more of the type to camp on an official campsite with electricity as I camp on bike trips and my bike has pedal assist, a campfire is not an option because they are forbidden on most German campsites, but I will try to change the recipe a bit to be doable on a Trangia. I would omit the chips, use some meat I fried immediately before, like pre-seasoned pork or chicken you can usually buy at the reception desk of the campsite, and eat bread with it. Would make for a relaxing summer evening by one of the campgrounds by a lake, we have a couple here.
Nice - In Liverpool these are called Salt and Pepper boxes....Chav Chinese curry essentially lol - they are great after a few beers and as hangover food!
Looks delicious! I am about to make a cup of homemade hot chocolate using milk, chocolate powder, pumpkin pie spice blend, chili powder , honey and vanilla extract. I will pour about 10 oz of milk into a small pan add the dry and honey ingredients (to taste) , slowly heat the concoction while stirring it with a whisk until all the dry ingredients and milk are incorporated . Allow the hot cocoa to heat to a strong steam (but not boil). Remove from heat source, ad vanilla, stir in and pour it into a thermal cup. ☃️
Hi Andy. I use a n old wok when camping and find a charcoal chimney starter a brilliant heat source. A nice intense heat. Thanks for this recipe idea I'll be trying it at some time. ps The collapsible ones work very well
i moved to Arizona from Ireland in 2011,when i went back home i hadn't heard of the spice bag so i got one with the nephew,i ate one every day for two weeks i was home haha
A salt and oil rub on your old wok will remove the rust - then an oil rub and a long slow heat to re-seal it. Good as new or even better, an old wok adds a special flavour and character to food.
Right now, I’m dealing with a huge load, my husband now in end stage congestive heart failure , your uploads are helping me get through
Thank you. My thoughts go out to you, hope things improve

The spice bags are all different depending on where you go in Dublin. Fair play for trying it out.
