- Emirates, Etihad, and Qatar Airways are colloquially known as the Middle East Big Three. However, questions remain about Etihad, given its cuts and reduced size in recent years. Regardless, everyone knows that the trio revolves around India, both point-to-point and to feed their vast global networks over their hubs. So which of these airlines serves India the best?

In my opinion its emirates they offer so many flights round the clock to india and they also operate a380s to bangalore and mumbai with also the 777 flying to other airports
Not to mention they will add their newest A350s to West India (Ahmedabad)
Wow so the A350 route is confirmed?@@thatonerandomkid-r2n
My collage is near to mumbai airport (4.6km) so i watch them arrive though my claasroom window every now and then.
And i love it then i heard landings or sometimes takeoff.
@@thatonerandomkid-r2n a350 will be flying to mumbai on the same day
I love all 3 Airlines ✈️ ❤️
I flew Qatar out of Boston to Chennai! My bags came to my Hotel when I was leaving almost a week! They also messed up my computer protection on the double screening we had to do, but the inflight service was absolutely AWESOME! Besides all the set backs the crew was always there for you!
I prefer Emirates always. Have flown many times to Paris in J class. Only once I did in Qatar which was impressive too but my preference is Emirates
For qatar, they have a massive codeshare with Indigo. Almost half of their trips to India are done by Indigo
Literally was about to comment the same. The codeshare is soo good as well for Europeans to come to India, as the prices by indigo are so cheap.
I prefer Qatar Airways if I were to get on a flight to India
Happy to see an India focused video!
I've flown Emirates and Qatar from Mumbai to their respective hubs and onwards...
I've found Emirates to be the best overall especially when it comes to connecting flight options, layover time, airport facilities and price.
I once had an 18hr layover in Doha before my flight to LAX and the lounge was always at capacity. I was asked to come either after an hour or even 2hrs but never got entry.
cool. ive been on EK A380s and honestly they have a great service
also L to those who were going to say first :)
Why Emirates doesn’t fly a 380 to Delhi?
Riyadh air will add soon
One word - EMIRATES!
Hi from India, I would prefer Emirates. Because they use wide body airplanes both 777 and A380 to serve the other cities which are big but not as big as delhi or Mumbai. I live in Ahmedabad (AMD) which is a big City and all three carriers fly here. But Etihad and Qatar fly their narrow body planes. With exception of Emirates. Emirates flight takes off at around 3 am , so having a full flat bed is 100% worth. Getting sleep before the lay over and long flight ahead. You can't rest on narrow body planes like that. Also they charge roughly the same in business class.
None, Air India will win India once it's new fleet comes in, existing fleet is refurbished & the old government appointment employees are weeded out & retired.
Emirates for sure
Emirates A380 to BOM
you should make a video about Qatar Airways current orders
Qatar ❤
If possible I would like to fly A380 to everywhere, its that comfortable.
Qatar for sure
Wish I was an Etihad A320 first officer ✈️💫
Etihad and Emirates
Another issue is the Middle East airlines don’t offer 2 checked luggage from Europe but only 1 . So consequently people choose air India which offers 2 checked bags and it’s cheaper as well
Flown in MEA carriers 8 times now on international flights, only once with Qatar and rest all with Emirates because of their route network and convenient timings
Gulf Air:🗿
Kuwait Airways:🗿
Jazeera:🗿
Emirates 🇦🇪
Watching this video after booking a ticket on Emirates from CCU (Kolkata) to FRA lol. Just goes to show making a good quality product can bring passengers regardless of local carriers.
We do not need them now we all have air India now
All three are excellent carriers, but I think Air India is in a reborn process to serve its country with direct flights. Also with a big new fleet, Air India can use one or two cities as international hubs from Europe to southeast Asia and Oceania and back, "stealing" flights from the Middle East airlines.
Maybe
Curious to see how these airlines pivot as Air India improves. If air India becomes a viable option for the Indian diaspora, these gulf airlines will need to reevaluate their value proposition
Air India will❤
Emirates flies A380 to Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru
No..all Delhi flights are operated using 777
Emirates
Doubt it as indigo and air India starts to expand with better cabins and service in the coming years , we can see the number of travelers in this airline decline
Having flown all three to India in Buisness,I like Qatar as there is no first class and therefore i think Buisness class passengers get good service.Dont want to fly huge capacity airplanes , which result in long waiting time on ground after landing.
Gulf air
Emirates ❤
Big three? Etihad have one third of the fleet size of Emirates and Qatar. And they reached that in past couple of years. Prior to that they had less than a 100 aircrafts.
Loyal to Etihad … Qatar has gone down hill lately , while Etihad is actually catching up in service … and prove for J on Etihad is far lower than the other 2 options
They thrived all thanks to years of mismanagement at Air India and which will take years to undo it for new a management under Tata. As I read 66 thousand seats are allocated to the UAE per week but haven't changed since 2014 and the present government is in no mood to increase further inspite severe pressure from UAE. I have read that the government is mindful of fact severe impact gulf based airlines have caused the aviation industry and aren't budging on this. Reports have suggested that the government has demanded four seats to Indian carriers against every seat allocated to emirati carriers.
A380s to BOM❤️❤️
I prefer Emirates because that is the only middle eastern airline i have flown 😂
None of the above.. things will change in coming years.
Emirates stands out , then Qatar , Etihad has crammed aircraft seats which is a pain
Honestly, I’m surprised Qatar only considers India as its 4th most frequented destination. I wonder which is the highest 🤔
Emirates. They are simply too massive to be stopped.
It hurts seeing these Middle Eastern carriers take away sooo much business from indian.
Not blaming the ME3, it's because of indian Airlines' own incompetence. Had some hope with Air India but don't think it's gonna be a challenge to ME3 for decades.
Missing the crucial point that Qatar airways has a partnership with the largest airline in India indigo..😅
When AI launches its direct Dallas , LA , things are going to change .
Directs are usually more expensive, so unless they can have good feeding flights...
Air India will never be able to compete with anyone in the airline industry, maybe Allegiant or Spirit in the United States. The on board experience, sanitation and culture needs to change. Just because they have A350s now doesn’t mean anything. You can put lipstick on a pig, it’s still going to be a pig.
Problem with AI is there image. No matter how much they try to build the ME alternative for connecting West with Far East it won't succeed if they do not substantially overhaul their image of delayed poor quality flights.
Introduction of A350 is welcoming step but it need requires the staff and airport infrastructure to make the passenger experien e worthwhile.
@@RitwickChatterjee14Sab thik hoga dhere dhere..26-27 se profit ana suru hoga Air India ke liye
Los Angeles and Seattle will be fine. It will be difficult to succeed in Dallas since Mumbai and Hyderabad are the top markets. This is made worse by Air India having three competitors flying at least 7 flights.
India will be won by Air India
😂 never in atleast next 5 years
Emirates = Etihad
yes.
Imo, Emirates hands down has the proper reliable schedule and best services.. followed by Qatar, which though very limited but very efficient. While Qatar's codeshare with Indigo does contribute more capacity but then the sevice quality suffers.
Eitihad on other hand feels, for lack of a better word, "very lethargic" with its services. It feels they care as less as they can while serving major cities in India with services. They do have the number but feels like they don't have the attitude to serve to the Indian passengers.
I have flown with Emirates
from Mumbai multiple times.
With Qatar from Delhi & Kolkata.
While, with Eitihad, from Mumbai & Kolkata had been disastrous.
Etihad can easily do it
Yes. They seem serious about capturing the Indian routes flying to Europe and the US.
It’s a world I’ll never know. M
There is an exotic but super expensive world that exist outside India like the UK ( the guys who ruled us for several centuries prior to 1947), Europe and the United States of America. You too can do it (visit or work). Just have to push yourself hard and set your goals higher in life.
There shouln't be any increase in bilaterals with UAE, Qatar or Turkey. They have dumped capacity and driven Indian carriers out from lot of US and European routes. India should protect its bilaterals and have Indian carriers thrive on routes to Europe, US.
Giving more options to customers driving competition and reducing prices should be the priority of the regulator not restricting bilaterals. If Indian Airlines want to complete with gulf airlines improve their offering to attract customers.
@@kumaran8923well not true acctaully , air india is in growing phase and will take several few years to improve but until then emirates will take huge chunk of passengers cause they have more fleet size and route network compared to air India , second they will optimize more seats compared to Indian airlines cause of the plus point they got which is to be honest not fair .
@@kumaran8923 You are mistaken about this part. Gulf carriers milk indian passengers during peak travel seasons.
I don’t have problem with Gulf carriers competing on point to point routes, but they should be restricted to fuel more point to point connections to Indian cities.
@@buriburizaemon21 I don't see Air India going with the strategy have point to point connection of Indian cities with EU/US. They are going with the Hub and spoke model with their Delhi and Mumbai Hubs. Making Air India grow is the not the job of the government. If they want to grow they might have start operating direct flights from many Indian cities like Hyderabad, Kolkata , Chennai to EU or US. Else people are going to keep choosing ME carriers until then.
nahh prefer gulf over idian
no.
Who cares
If you have never left the shores of India in your life (like a frog in a well) you don't have to. This information is very useful for youngsters who live successful life in the UK, Europe and US and want to visit their homeland once in a while (or frequently).
Qatar ❤
Emirates ❤
