We had heard such amazing things about a small island off the coast of Japan, south of Hiroshima. Whilst we were against time to get the ferry, we made it AND it did not disappoint!

WHO WE ARE:
We are Alex & James. Originally from the UK, but also citizens of Australia after living there for 5 years. When we left the UK in 2014, we quickly caught the #travelbug and began making memories through video and photo. Our Instagram is where this all began for us @twosometravellers but our love for video is where we really love sharing our adventures.
In 2014 we left the UK to go travelling.
In 2015 we moved to AUSTRALIA.
In 2016 we got engaged in HAWAII.
In 2018 we got married in the PHILIPPINES.
In 2019, we decided to chase our dreams! We quit our jobs, sold our belongings and booked a one day ticket to Asia.
We’re so thankful to be able to live something we love every day and share with you all our previous and upcoming adventures! :)

I have been there 3 times!!! And I didn’t see any bunnies that many… they are all either hiding in their holes or in the forest…me and my family have to crawl under bushes to even be able to feed one or two rabbit…safe to say you guys are luckiest to feed and play with that many bunnies…

I have to wonder though how this is all managed in terms of "bunny's that sadly passed away", the bunny's have no natural predator it seems but also limited local food supply so that their sheer quantity is mostly sustained by tourists bringing in food which might be a fluctuating thing. Considering the lifespan of bunny's aswell, i would think theres a daily early morning neighbourhood check by the locals.

Can somebody sow some grass for rabbits
This is a very sad place with sick starving and wounded rabbits with no vet care and seriously over bred rabbits.
This is so true! This video is made for people to believe that these rabbits are awesome wild rabbits, but really they are domesticated but just living in the wild.
Very sad. Unfortunately they rely almost solely on tourists for food. If people truly cared they would try to re-home these buns instead of using them for an attraction.

It's not cool at all. Animal cruelly being misrepresented. Each rabbit it neglected. Malnourished. Once again Japan makes something cute and kills it.
