I read the article about it and I must say that I like it, there are the Forgotten (mutants), Cabal, EVA, ion storms, tiberium flora and fauna. There is even an Red Alert and Generals reference making it other timelines of the series. This looks pretty awesome.
Opposing Force was a Great Example, you could play as a soldier (Adrian Shepard), there were new Weapons (like the Displacer Cannon, M249 SAW and the Desert Eagle) and you fought a new alien Race (Race X).
BFP4F- Great Fun game, remake of BF2. No scams(yet), had east to get in game currency and buyable currency, but with very generous prices. Maps took forever, and even though the devs didnt listen to feedback, we were ok because it was a decent time waster. Dec 19- Dev Response- We noticed a lot of feedback about how Elite Legacy Attachments(names added to guns bought only with BF funds and the attachments were bullshit) and theyre OP. We are taking them away with no reimbursement. Have fun! >:(
C&C was post-apocalyptic RTS, but in C&C 3 it all changed to futuristic RTS without tiberium lifeforms, mutants or ion storms and tiberium doesnt look like planet destroying disaster anymore. It just didnt feel like it was linked to previous C&C games. It is a good game ,especialy with the Kanes Wrath expansion pack, but I am pretty sure that if Westwood made the game without EA, it would be much better (+ we would have more Westwood).

No. You only get drops if you have TF2 premium. In order to get that, you either need to own the paid version, or buy a weapon/hat. The game still requires you to buy something to get good stuff.
If you contact Dice they'll fix whatever happened 90% chance. A guy even said his code for those exclusive Dr. Pepper camos for BF3 didn't work and Dice simply gave it to him while he didn't have it at all lol. Your brother should contact Dice for sure :D
They were trying to buy Take Two which is the parent company of Rockstar back in 2008. If that was so we would have GTA XXXV by now plus with DLC on top of every single one of them.
You get weapon drops in f2p tf2. Or you could spend 50 cents on the same weapon but not be able to craft it. If getting the premuim version for fifty cents is too far above your paygrade, I might consider flash gaming.
I like Dice because they were actually the ones who put effort into the game. BF3 without EA's marketing would be the ultimate, un-rushed game. Though I do think Valve are my favourite publishers and developers since they have a good reputation of giving the players the small choice to pay2win. With EA, they make it sound like YOU MUST PAY ANOTHER £40 IF YOU WANT TO UNLOCK THE REST OF OUR GAME.
Yeah but that only applies to your character level, is only on certain dates, and character level only comes with skins and secondary weapons. The secondary weapons are even mediocre, and you can get them all for free in the same way that everyone else does. Had all the weapons and skins, then I bought Premium. Haven't looked back.

They're the exact same weapons except one counts stuff like kills, assists, ubers, ect. and the other is sellable %90 of non cosmetic weapons in the game can be found by drop, most except for weapons like the maul, which isn't even that great of a weapon in the first place...
There are some games they published like bf1942 and MoH that are cool but they only put their licence and trademarks on it in truth they never made them aside from owning the forums and website belonging to the websites
If you say that M-16 is the best weapon in the game and every one else thinks so, then it will be nerfed if dice and ea will be smart enough. If 2 new players come to the game and one of them will buy the shortcuts and the premium he will have a huge advantage on him for a REAL long time, and the premium will give him new weapons which will give him additional advantage on that player.
If someone knocked you down, and started slapping you in the face, over and over, EA would not even bother to look shocked. That is how little they care about you - zero effort in defending you. Why are you defending them?

Kit shortcuts shows how this game is p2w, it doesn't matter who the player is, it gives him everything this class has and an advantages on a newer player (just for example) I think you don't even know what the term p2w means, so I won't argue on anything anymore.
dice first made the frostbite 2 engine, the multiplayer, the art design, and the graphics for the game. Then EA said "come up with a campaign in 5 weeks". Then EA got the game and raped it in the ass. This made it badly ported and ran off a crappy service platform (origin) that needed a slow update every month. It also lost half of it's multiplayer maps that were then recovered as pre-paid dlc. BF3 would have been GOTY if dice went under a different publisher.
Kit shortcuts also unlock everything such as rocket launchers and those shit for the recon, so don't tell me it's not pay to win, waste of money or not it is pay to win
EA did some constructive and well-thought changes in C&C3 and RA3. The fact that you run away from even the slightest changes tells what sort of "gamer" you are.
you mean BFp4f... in BF3 you can buy all the unlocks and new weapons but there it really won't matter... the pilot with the 1000 hours on a jet will still kill you. and if it won't be the lifeless pilots, it will be the client side hit detection and the most OP weapon- a basic M-16.

Weapons are the most dropped item. Cosmetics usually come at occasions or luck or if you buy em.
