Interesting. Just the other day I heard a colleague co-worker comment that there will definitely be a market for plug-in hybrids for a while, since many people are still concerned about the limited range of EVs (battery capacity/size limitation), along with the slow proliferation of charging stations, fast-charging technology, etc. The total transition to a complete EV fleet might take decades, and in the meantime the plug-in hybrids seem to be the most reasonable option/deal, I guess.
I love this car with my whole heart. I'd like to see it's crush tests, off road performance and all, I've searching that more than 2 years now but I couldn't find the one specifically for GLE/GLC
If anyone looking to get his now in the UK, bare in mind it will no longer come with burmester sound, charging pad, energetic pack, and the air balance pack. Could be other omissions, not sure

"Hey mercedes, what is the weather like in London today?" "Today it will be partly cloudy...." no change there then lol. Airmatic suspension is pretty cool :) Over 100kms in electric mode; a great step forward
What happens in winter if I have driven, let’s say 50km on electric and suddenly I need full power and it’s -30 degrees outside? Does the engine kick in at full power when it’s cold?
Paul, it would have been good if you showed us the driver's display at the end, that would have been the icing on the cake. I prefer the full fat SUV version, anytime and all the time.
It's what the most car companies missing. At present, we need PHEV hybrid cars with better electric only range. Pure electric or fossil fueled ones are not a good idea.
Hey Mercedes, can you explain why this car in Ireland costs as much as Porsche Cayenne E-HYBRID ? Because of this extreme pricing you cant sell any 122000 euro and you cant blame the taxes because CO2 is low on this model.
