My dad had an uncirculated set of the so-called ‘educational series’ which was highly desirable because of the notes’ incredible artistic beauty. He also had an uncirculated $1000 bill and an uncirculated $500 bill. Most of his collection was sold at a Heritage auction in the early 2000’s. He passed in 2011. In 2017 astronomers observed the merger of two neutron stars in a galaxy 130 million light years away. The merger created a kilonova which produced many Earth masses of gold, platinum and silver. Many other heavy elements were produced as well. The precious metals that we hold, trade and stack today were probably forged by a similar event.
There is some play in the premiums on the pre-1933 gold and silver. This depends on demand. Buy them when the demand is low (gold price stable or slightly moving down) and the lower grades have less premium and play to them.

I don't have one gold coin in my stack that is not pre 33. I also stack exclusively 90% and 40% us silver coins as well. I stay away from the modern eagles. I used to stack gold eagles and silver eagles but I stopped focusing on them once I became more familiar with the older US coinage system. I ended up eventually selling all of my gold eagles and silver eagles because I found them to be boring. The only thing that I dont like about pre 33 is that the smaller quarter eagles and gold dollars have a rediculously high premium so I barely have any in my stack. The sweet spot for me is the $10 liberty gold peice.

A refreshing conversation that nails the truth about the confiscation that never was...it was voluntary and the New York bankera new it and held on to it and thanks to them more of the coins survived for us.
My goodness ~ I just came across this channel and I am absolutely addicted to it. The content is incredibly interesting and so much knowledge is to be gained......Thank you very much for posting this content. You just got a new subscriber!
Some of the quarter eagle years have low mintages, and the same goes for the three dollar gold coins, so I got some of those (Was able to find the #2 and #3 rarity with the $3 coins). I also got the $1, $5, $10 as types, and the 1908 st gaudens no motto.

Great video. Definitely showed several gems on stacking. Thank you!
I live in Europe. Sovereign's , Britannia's and Vienna's are my preferred option to gold bars.
Your videos have never been so important yankee...thank you
Geezzzee yankee, why did you do this to me! Now I’d like to have one of each of the old constitutional gold coins including the Indian!
😂😂😂

This guy is had a WEALTH of knowledge. Everytime you post a video with him i learn something new! He needs no google. Haha
I appreciate the live with Tim!!!!!
Please tell tim to be careful. Our old bones sure don't like those abrupt stops. You two are always nice to visit with. Tim is a library of all PM's and you can entertain a Gymnasian of folks wanting to learn more of our PM's. Really neat thing abour border is we can swap our PM's back and forth between us just like it is a simple letter with no one the wiser. We can trade or just simply have birtday parties with ourPM's as gifts. It must drive the upadee Tax Gropers crazy eh, LOLOLOL. It's always nice to see my friends here. Take care and keep on a kickin bud.
Yankee you always keep shifting my stacking strategy! 😁 Thanks! 🇺🇸👍
😂👌🏼
Thank you for sharing video. I watched half, catch up later to watch the other half
Hope you enjoyed it, Joel! Thanks for watching. 👌🏼
Smart Gentleman !
I do not buy Constitutional silver or Gold because I am from Canada and any gold or silver that is not pure my Government makes me pay thirteen percent tax
Junk Silver, When i buy a 100 dollar face mixed coins and then look at each one at home and see some are worn all most smooth ,should the weight be corrected o .715 in a bulk bag? Thanks,
In 2017 astronomers observed the merger of two neutron stars in a galaxy 130 million light years away.
True.
And that's what to STACK--lower premium pre-33.
Just purchased my first pieces of gold for my 19th birthday today! 2 maple leaves and a pamp bar! Thank you for your videos and guiding me!
Wow! Impressive! You are so smart to do that.
What would be shipping cost when purchasing a 10 oz silver bar
Hey there! Just discovered you and would love to know absolutely everything lol.
Also a New Hampshire resident, the winters can sometimes be a severe hit or sometimes a miss that’s for sure

Love the history and knowledge..God bless you Tim..keep doing it...rock and roll dude
That’s a great sweet spot!
