Who is your favorite F1 driver?
Max Verstappen!! You should check him out. Good reaction👍
Split between Daniel Riccardo and Lance Stroll
daniel ricciardo and seb vettel
Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel
Toss up between Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris.
The engines being 50% efficient is something that would've been completely impossible to do just couple of decades ago outside laboratory settings. But.. a 1.6l engine, that has to last +2000 miles and produce 800HP and being 50% efficient... you would've been laughed out if you said it is the norm in racing at any point... It is a milestone, a holy grail of sorts to go over 50% and have it be used in a practical application.
F1 is a world championship where the winner is legitemately declared World Champion as opposed to the winners of the NBA who just think they are!
Nascar is a completely and I mean completely different experience than F1 and I've been to a lot of both series.
Next F1 race is in Austin, TX and it’s called the US Grand Prix. October 21-23, 2022. It’s expensive to go the 3 days but a lot more accessible than the Miami GP….. that was pricey.
The KEY word is FORMULA, wich team will find the right FORMULA that doesnt break the rules, TO MAKE the best car for the race, thats what FORMULA stands for.
Ok as since u got my attention here is the thing u should watch to know abt F1
F1 2012 season CYmotorsports video (8winners in one ssn)
2021 Hungarian gp Alonso defence
teams spend MILLIONS on RND and testing for these cars. MILLIONS!!
What a shame you talked over some of it and missed some vital information.
I thought the future was going to be flying cars etc back in 1975 when I was 9/10. 57 years later and it appears we’re going backwards.
Maybe flying cars in another 57 years 🤔
Thanks guys! A ok video but not the best. Quite a lot over simplified. Marketing, yes, everything is marketing, not only in racing. But it is so much more. Like her favorite team Mercedes use their F1-tehchnology in their other racing sports and most importantly it actually gets installed to regular/normal street cars, like Ferrari, Honda, Toyota (used to), Renault, Lotus, Alfa Romeo etc. And the same goes for Rally, Formula e-class, motorbikes etc.
Pls react to the Netflix series drive to survive!
If you want them to learn f1 in a biased and dramatized way, dts is the best thing😂
you should react to max verstappen vs lewis hamilton montage season 2021
If you love driving then electric is a complete no no.
You ask if this lady is big in F1? No, never heard of her.
The tech in F1 has evolved since the 1950s, so it would be good for you to see some videos on the history of F1.
Its not something you can walk in to and be involved in, the teams only take the top engineers from around the world.
The drivers and to an extent team members work their way up from lower formula, such as F3 and F2 and at the end of it there are only 20 race seats world wide, so you're looking at the best.
The race example of Miami wasn't the best example, it was the most over-hyped, not the best track or race. I expect the Vegas race this year will put it in the shade when it comes to hype
F1 doesnt goes full electric the Formula e series is electric. But f1 have 2026 fuel Who is 100% good for the World. So hope you know what i mean because of my Bad english
Thanks for the comment!! I completely understand what you are saying 👍
the future of cars isn't electric. Otherwise, F1 would have been years ago.
F1 car cost around 8-10 million US dollars
It cost around 12MIl depending of course team budgets since each tap is capped to spent 140 Mil but not all teams have that much money
It used to be around 6-10 Mill but not anymore 10+ Mil
Compete power unit costs around 6 mil and all other parts combined around 5 mil with gearbox and monocoque taking most of that
That is insane!!!
U guys colour blind ?
The bad thing about F1 is that there's really not much competition on the track. If you don't qualify up front you have a very slim chance of winning. Yeah they go fast but they don't actually race. I like the competition of racing on the track in F1 there may only be one or two passes.
On the other hand in NASCAR people are passing on every lap.
I think you'll enjoy your first race you don't realize how fast 200 mph is until you see it live.
Have fun.
What she said about Ferrari is advertising is not correct, it would be dumb for them to say that it isn't in their marketing strategy, when everyone can see it is, why wouldn't they use like that, all other teams do the same. It's over simplified. She just take 1-2 sentences and conclude it's "advertising". So lame. This is what happens when you learn from a random youtuber, they will not get it so then it's not easy to teach other about it.
Thanks for letting us know, we really appreciate it!
