Yeonmi Park is a NORTH KOREAN defector and activist, one of the few in the world who successfully fled from North Korea. She tells a heartbreaking, unbelievable story & you should definitely listen to the whole episode. This video does not do her justice, but go ahead and listen to the whole story, your jaw will drop. She's a known liar. She said in this very podcast that rats were eating the EYES of the people in the hospitals and children would eat the rats and rats would then eat the children lmfao. She's told a million nonsense stories like this. She also claim there is no word for love in North Korea. I mean cmon 😂.. The Grayzone with Max Blumenthal and Ben Norton did a segment about a year ago where this exact lady came up becuase her lying was so outlandishly hilarious. She's an establishment shill. Sorry to burst your bubble.
On another note I think you're kinda putting Joe Rogan on blast by posting clips like this one. You fell for the emotional manipulation noob. Get a grip.

The US desperately needs to change their approach and strategy on North Korea. Isolation and sanctions have not only not worked but have also created a regime that has no challengers of any kind in the country. Lift our sanctions and allow them to trade with the world, let businesses get in there and you will improve the lives of all of those people but you will also put in entities capable of challenging the regime.
We need to try something different. As much as the North Korean people are suffering because of their own leadership, the US has caused a hundred times more suffering to them with our policies.

My Dad was a strong man. At 5'9", he towered over all 6'3" of me. He never graduated from High School, or went to College. Before he turned 30 years old, he had a wife and 5 children to provide for. We never went hungry, but he did. His clothes got a bit ragged, ours didn't. He worked every day of the week, sometimes two or more shifts. Only once did I really hear him curse his life. Only once, but he saw what it did to us. Saw it in our eyes. I complain too much. I wish I was one twenty part the tithe of my Dad. I'd be ten times the man I am. Still, I may be getting wiser. Nowadays, whatever happens, I think of him. The rest is easy.

When nazis invaded in 1941 and started bombing the city, people tried to flee, there was chaos, thousands of people on the railway station trying to board trains. He stood at the door and said "Until my family is boarded nobody is getting in". And nobody did. I wish I was like him, never knew the guy, he died long before I was born. PS. When he came back, he wasnt the same man.
We werent the same either. I went through so much pain in his absence. I wasnt safe.
But i didnt give up. I built myself into a hardhitting monster. My fathers pride isnt me achieving that, but only using that in times of need.
Its been 6 years since he came back, my parents gave ecerything to build this family.
Today I follow in their footsteps. Making sure they are loved, cared for and safe.

He is kind, friendly, gets along with everyone and a real softy, they don't write movie dads this good. Yet despite that he was in his own right a strong man, a good masculine figure.
He worked hard and if I cast my mind back to my youth now that I am an adult I can say that he could not have earned very much. The car was a piece of crap, we lived in a small town, he came home in overalls, but man he worked and never complained.
He would come home to a house full of kids from the neighborhood, and instead of complaining that he had a long day and doesn't want kids around, he came outside and played sport with the kids of the block and you would swear nothing was bothering him.
He left work at work and kept his stress to himself. I have said this many times, if I could be half the man he was I would consider myself a success.
