Here's a look at an awesome new smartwatch I've been using! It's the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS (that's a mouthful to say). If you want a powerful, versatile smartwatch, this is it!
I'm an Android fan boy through and through, but the Apple Watch to me is the standard for smart watches. Just bought this watch and I'm excited about it.
Waiting to see when it will get OS 3 but man it's massive. I hope that happens before Christmas or I'll be getting the new Pixel Watch or Galaxy Watch 5. If I can get past the size.
I never liked smart watches due to their limited battery times. This one could make me change my opinion. Switching off functions, does this include fitness features? They keep introducing more and more. But not everyone uses them. Or only casual. Can these be stopped to save on battery life? Is there also some sort of Android emulator to see which apps will work on the watch? I'd like to see if for instance it can be used to open/close my car without having to use my phone.
A smartwatch is a wrist cell phone. Lasting 4 days (like the one in the video) is a lot.b But it can last much longer if you don't use the connectivity.
@@johntitorbr I know. Just for myself I see a lot of functionalities consuming energy, which most hardly or never use. It not only affects usage time but also occupies space which I'd rather see used for bigger batteries. And as well drop the price.
@@henriwolbrink if you choose to, you can set it to "essentials" mode which is just that led screen with the time, seconds, hr, and steps which lasts 40 days
@@paterpater100 thanks for the reply. In the end I decided to get a Tissot Solar Connect. And I am very happy with it. No overkill whatsoever. Just the basics like I want.
I think there are more than students who know about smartwatches, they also know that "digital" isn't the way to describe the LCD mode, but I guess you are too young to have experienced what analog vs digital really is. 😁
@@bennylloyd-willner9667 i was saying you could bring the watch into a exam and say its a LCD mode watch when its a smart watch that your now allowed in an exam because of the 2nd screen as long as you dont put the smart watch face on they wont know
I think you can't text back due to Apple only allowing their own watch to communicate that way. I haven't got either an Apple phone/watch or a Pro 3 Ultra but all reviews I've seen mention this.
Surprised you saying the watch it huge ? not at all, it should be at least this size if not even bigger ! specially for a so called gps watch, which should have a bigger display. i would actually like the watch to be bigger.
@@isimic74 I bought because it "had" compass sensor, they disabled it later saying it conflicts with some other sensors. Later it started to reset my steps randomly.
Do not buy from Mobvoi they have no repair mechanism in place these are too expensive to be throw away products but if they can't fix it if there is an issue then it is disposable.
CAUTION: DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH. This RUclips Channel is presenting a faulty product. The software is wonky, plus why would you ever buy a smartwatch in the first place? I am throwing my Mobvoi Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra into the trash and buying a Seiko, which tells the time. The rest is always available on a phone. And why would you add yet another device that requires charging???

It's really trippy to get an ad of this video on this video. I didn't realize it was an ad for like 10 seconds
1.46 min. Look like you have a cat buddy 😉. Great review. Well done! Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
"totally different" is a bit of an exaggeration I think. It should be even better when WOS3 arrives, but revolutionary changes aren't expected.

Can these buttons be pulled out though? that's the only thing about durability I worry about
any updates on wear os 3.0?
end of 2022
@Raymong, what is the Wear OS you are using?
Can you put offline music in the watch storage to listen without phone? Not using spotify offline.
You can, yeah
The watch often hang and crash when using the ticsports feature to track activities..
Super nice!
Nice job.
I bought this and have an IPhone 12. Can this watch receive text messages ? If so, how ? I cant seem to set this part up.
Can you talk on your phone through your watch? Can you text on this watch????
Yes and yes.
Since your not allowed smart watches during an exam you could change it to the digital, and keep it on that to the end. And they would never know.

Have for triatlón?
still no wos 3 :(
As a ticwatch pro 3 ultra user, do not even think about it. I would return it if I could.
Why?

Maybe because people can do whatever they want with their money?.
