Stand up.. never interrupt our Anthem. Thank you for your service. We have our flag proudly flying over our 150 acre farm.. I know it's a small area.. but it's ours and we love our country and show our pride.. Chris Stapleton did us proud.
My husband was military almost his whole life. 3 years in the Marine Corps and the rest in the Air National Guard. He stood at attention anytime the National Anthem was played. I lost him at 60 to cancer. Thank you for showing your American pride!
Thank you so much for your service! My father served in the Marines and fought in the Korean War. He was badly wounded and spent 9 months in an Okinawa hospital. Fortunately, for me and my five siblings, he made it home and had us all. Respect for standing up and removing your hat! Wish the younger generation were taught history and understood why we do this.
...."You can prolly live in another country and find that moving..." The national pride and patriotism of the US people is something a lot of other countries could aspire to. A great rendition of this song, thanks MIke.
Live 90 minutes from the Maine border in canada. Although not american, the anthem has always held big weight for me. This version of it definitely teared me up.
I was in a public place when this happened. It was so moving you could hear a pin drop. We were all crying and did not know it. This is the Best Rendition Ever
It is never corny to stand for our National Anthem. As an older American myself, seeing Chris singing the national anthem like this in his way reminds me of what we have lost in this country over the past few years. Through God's grace, we have hope that our Nation will not fall further from Grace and into the darkness that infested the hearts and minds of so many in our nation. Having fought for this country, not only seeing but experiencing the world outside the borders of our great nation brings a whole different meaning to the country we call home and the flag that represents our people. I am grateful to be an American and know that we now have a leader who, with the help of the people, brings back what I thought we had lost. It was hard seeing what we fought so hard to protect being destroyed by those who were born in this Nation through hate, anger, and bitterness, working so hard to tear down the country we love and fought for. We are coming up on almost 250 years as a Nation under God, and with God's grace, hopefully, we as a people have our greatest days ahead. God bless you, brother, and thank you for your service and respect for our Home of the Free and Land of the Brave.
Thank you for your service, first of all. Very touching you stood up and placed your hand over your heart while listening to this fabulous rendition of our National Anthem. Very impressive, sir.
Love love your reaction as you should stand for this national anthem beautiful beautiful job by Chris Stapleton beautiful reaction thank you thank you so much
Thank you for your video and your service. And pointing out the women pilots is EXACTLY why this country is unique in the world. There's NOTHING sissy about being moved by that song sir.💜💜💜
Fantastic reaction... I love that most of us stand and cover our hearts...his version is amazing...it brings tears for me because I only get to live this life I have because of them all those years ago and because of people like you, Sir...I thank you
Never feel embarrassed to show emotion over something patriotic . There are a lot of people in the world today who should feel that way about their homelands instead of being so invested in being "woke" .Thats the word for all the strange ideas going around now I think.
Black/Samoan/Irish/Cherokee ex military from California...I say that to say this ...HIS PERFORMANCE OF THE NATIONAL ANTHEM WAS LITERALLY PERFECT! (ALSO...easy subscribe)
For years I have attempted stop this improper display of the flag. I've also attempted to get the NFL and NCAA to remove the flag from athletic uniforms and helmets. I've been completely ignored by the organizations and individual teams. In accordance with the flag code, the flag of the USA should never be used as a decoration on football helmets nor sewn or affixed to athletic uniforms. (c) The flag should never be carried flat or horizontally, but always aloft and free. (j) No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform. Often you see our American flag carried into stadiums and arenas with people holding the flag by its edges thus displaying it flat in violation of the U. S. flag code. This should never happen. Every NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, college and high school game where the flag is displayed in this manner is a sign of disrespect. The American flag is to always be displayed or carried aloft. The only 2 exceptions are stated below. In accordance with the flag code, the flag of the USA is never to be carried flat. The only exception is when it is draped over a coffin or over remains during a burial at sea as seen below. In accordance with the flag code, the flag of the USA should never be used as a decoration on football helmets nor sewn or affixed to athletic uniforms. Yet, college and NFL teams place the flag decal on football helmets and sew it onto the front of basketball team jerseys.
I just had to delete my comment because I was shocked you were wearing your hat; but, you just paused and removed it so my bad. 😂 Your response, reaction, and emotions are nothing but real and honorable and there was zero corny or sissy behavior here. Thank you for your service. New Sub Here
Sorry. I didn't like it. It seemed more like a performance, if you know what I mean. Btw....we still stop our car when we hear the national anthem on base.
