I don't think that analogy works. If we interpret what he said at face value it would be more like a gun that doesn't shoot because it jams all the time.

It straight up leads into a 0td
FS into thrupper or fmp (depending on stage) will just kill from 0
On top of that, brawler has brawler nair, so he can just nair, land on shield, then fs and kill

How is Inkling Final Smash that low? It's literally the same final smash as Samus but you can angle it and you are completely in control of Inkling during the Final Smash.
Also you can combo Final Smash into any Smash Attack
As you can see from the video, these guys were not super thoughtful about making this. 😂
You can sdi out of it and can be avoided

@@Creepo_J only if the Inkling player moves the final smash in the oppisite direction as your SDI, and the final smash can just move in your SDI direction to keep you in anyways

An interesting way to think of this tier list is that the characters can't use their neutral b move while they have it, arguably moving characters like Steve down the list

It's funny cuz I was obsessed with brawl final smash countdown videos back before smash 4 and they all had peach's as the #1 worst
Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Peach FS in Brawl not put you to sleep in the air? I think you could just ignore the entire thing by staying in the air or grabbing the ledge. The peaches were also a bunch of small ones instead of 3 big ones, so it took her longer to heal. And since FS used to be ranked on free-for-alls, it was easy for one opponent to survive, heal themselves and ruin the entire thing for Peach.
But of course they didn’t think much of this, it was ranked low because it looked dumb.

It took me a minute to realize that this is not a final Tier list for Smash, its a Final Smash Tier list .xD.

28:40 Bayo's should be S tier. Bayonetta has guaranteed kill setups with meter and smash ball that can kill you off top (which aren't DI or SDI-able) because the final smash does not reset the opponents position to center stage. Also mentioned by a chatter, if you mash special and attack you do extra damage.

I agree with M2K on the Zelda take. Sure her FS is broken, but Zelda is just not a good character in general. Thats why the representation is so low for her.

@@veggie4876I mean there list is alright but there are definitely quiet a few issues.
1) M2K said "anyone with a combo into Final Smash is broken" but then left a bunch of characters with really strong and easy Final Smash combos in lower tiers. Kirby has F-Throw -> final Smash, as does Falcon, and Yink. Also Ridley has back throw -> Final Smash. All of these confirms can kill at or around 30%.
2) G&W and puffs Final smashes while not great actually can do work, you just have to use then in unorthodox ways. For Puff you essentially need to use it as a guaranteed edge-gaurd on a good chunk of the cast. Knock someone off-stage and then use it with Puff placed right at ledge. If your opponent can't stall off-stage for the entire duration of the move, they're just dead.
And for G&W's instead of running all the way off-stage after you gean someone, you can aim G&W into a platform or the stage itself and he'll go through but the opponent in your hand doesn't and they get thrown off. It does like 40% and kills ~90. While that isn't even close to early enough for Final Smash standards, it's definitely better than Sonic.
3) Sonic. I watched the Rockman set. Sure Sonix used the Final Smash to kill him, but he killed him at like 140% and 120%. Does that really mean the final Smash is good? It's just far to weak for the class of move it is. And Sonix got kills because people weren't familiar with it. You just take one hit and use the momentum to get to the top of the screen and stay there. If you can't stall, a well-Timed air-dodge can get you back down through the volley of speeding sonic.
@@veggie4876And I guess you can't combo into Marcina's Final Smash, but it's unreactable, goes super far and fast and kills at literal 0%. Easy A tier. Borderline S tier.
Alpharad's list was very amateur. The placement of final smashes with activation hitboxes was all over the place. They placed a lot of them low because you can react to them, but didn't try at all to find combos for those.
@@bulb9970 They weren't looking for if you combo any move into Final Smash, but how easy it is. Kirby Dark Pit and Ridley were rate high since they had a simple grab confirm that could combo into the Final Smash at even at high enough percents to where the Final Smash could kill.
Put that up against Fox for instance. Sure, he probably has Nair -> Final Smash or Dair -> Final Smash, but what if your opponent just puts up their shield? None if his grabs will combo into it, and if he just let it rip you can roll out of the way on reaction. Staying in shield is clear counterplay.
You don't have options like that against Kirby or Dark Pit.
Ness is too low. Covers a lot and you can control it...

@@Nekotaku_TV ive seen so many people dodge MOST of the stars and maybe get hit like once or twice, I also play puff is that's definitely a factor.
@@Mike-di3mo Haha yeah Jigglypuff is one of those that can avoid it easier, but if you get hit once there's no way you're surviving unless you're at a very low percentage. As Ness you just gotta pick the right side, I kill like 90% of the time. I'm a Ness main.
