A cheaper alternative is to get a hair gloss treatment. Also, a lot of these celebs actually wear wigs and extensions which can look shiny on their own, or they use gloss spray which can make their hair shiny as well.

I had it twice because I paid $27 for the first one (discounted, I was told) and at my next appointment I just gave them feedback that it didn't last ten washes and it made no difference to my hair. They gave me another one for free, and still, no difference. I've been going to this salon for about 13 years and never felt they were gimmicky or out for a quick buck until I had this treatment.

      1. Learn about porosity
      2. Change your hairbrush to denman paddle brush - it really makes a difference
      3. Use sealing oil before shampooing, channel CollegeCurls on yt has a video about which oil is sealing. This is really important step.
      4. Learn about emollients, protein and humectants, see what combination works for you.
      5. Cut your ends every 3-4 months
      6. Buy shampoo without sulfates. The one with sulfates use only to deep cleanse your scalp, I use it every 5 wash.

      9. Don’t use heat on your hair
      10. If you dye your hair use ammonia dye, the non ammonia dyes are more damaging. Ammonia dissolves combined with air but the non ammonia dyes only dissolves with special shampoo but not 100% so the product builds up in your hair damaging it.
      11. Silk cover is a nice thing but pricey
      12. Water filter can be good, but the effects will show in month of using it.

You want shiny hair? Take some fresh hibiscus leaves. Put it in a blender with some water. Blend it. It'll be slimy. Add water to get the consistency you want. Wet your hair. Wash your hair with the mix instead of a shampoo. Leave it on for a couple minutes. Wash it off. Your hair won't get the results in just a day or the next day. But the day after that, you'll have the most healthy looking shiny hair. This is called 'thaali' here in Kerala, India. We've been using this as a shampoo for as long as time goes. Oh, and using coconut oil on the hair before shower is a given. I know many people don't use thaali as much as we used to now that shampoos are much convenient. But this is something i swear by. Your hair will be a bit oily the next day after the hair wash though. But the day after it'll be silky smooth and shiny.
Please note that i don't know whether you'll get the same result as me since we all have different hair types and textures. I have straight, fine hair but a lot of it. Works for me. Definetly recommend.
    P. S. You need to use the leaves of hibiscus with red flowers(with five petals), at least that's how we does it. You can even use the flowers.
Oh, and for those who can't get their hands on fresh hibiscus leaves, they actually sell 'thaali powder'. Available on amazon. Have never used it, so i don't know whether you'll get the same results.

Girly its not even noticable (at least in the vid) also, they usually use extentions and wigs plus a treatment plus a straightening/curling after a smooth blow out) you have the biggest effect max for 2 days and after a wash its gone), oh and plus there is a lot of good lighting that would make even damaged hair look decent

Healthy hair will glow, you don't any treatment for shiny hair, cut the crap. For real I see no shine in your hair after. Just take care of your hair, respect it. A simple but good routine, discipline and consistency is all.

In South Africa kerastatse product are very expensive. After giving birth to my second baby my hair was very dry, short and brittle. I just use every week Garnier or Tresseme shampoo and the hair mask. It took months but after a a wash and blow I've got the same Zendaya gloss. It is important to use the same hair dresser, who follow the progress of your hair. Mine is inexpensive, so it was no biggie.

I get my awesome shine from Elvive extraordinary mask or the purple mask that I use as a conditioner and elvive extraordinary oil. I don’t comb my hair in the shower or use a massage tool or a tonne of products, it is really simple to have great hair.

    • @sharlesb7735
      @sharlesb7735 Год назад +1

@@shellierayner1671 Yes it works fantastically, I have very frizzy curly hair with a lot of blonde highlights. I use the oil if I am going to wear my hair straight, if I am going to let my hair be naturally curly, I use a very small amount of CANTU moisturizing curl activator cream on soaking wet hair and scrunch my curls in with the dryer. Both ways, my hair is extremely soft and shiny. Even when I had bleached white hair it was shiny. I try and find the products that work with the minimum amount of effort, I'm not going to use multiple products and fussy styling requirements.

    First step, have healthy hair.
Step 2, use a deep cleansing schampoo to remove residue. This gives shiny hair.
Step 3, rinse with cool water.
    Step 4, use shine spray

People in the west just put mass amounts of products and styling into their hair to make it temporarily look good, not to mention using fake hair from India most of the time. In India people actually take care of their hair and the roots using Ayurvedic ancient methods and oils instead of just glossing over the problem. This is why everyone wants Indian hair

You know all the peptides and amino acids and protein and everything else is supposed to be eaten in your meal rather than synthetically applied on the hair directly. So people, it's better to include these biomolecules in your diet, rather than getting expensive treatments done.
